  3. Christ comes to us in the unexpected, in the interruptions, and not on our schedule. You can see your Christian service not as interruption or obligation but as opportunity to be in the real presence of the risen Christ. "Everyone else seems to be worrying about his own plans and not those of ******* Christ" (Philippians 2:21).

  4. For the first time we did not eat traditional on Thanksgving. We did BBQ chicken, pork chops, steaks, fried wings, etc....

  5. At times we may be so enthusiastic that we overcommit ourselves to church activities and burn ourselves out or we may be tempted to move at a snail's pace instead of pushing ourselves to meet new challenges. Keeping a steady pace helps us to continue to grow and to finish the race God has set before us. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7).

  6. What the Lord is looking for in our lives? - 1 Samuel 15:22 shares some light on this... "Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice..."

  7. I've discovered that by being still, I can travela long way with God. "Come unto me and I will give yourest," ******* said. We areinvited to come to Christ w/our burdens, frustrations, & pains... We are offeredtrue rest in listening to Christ, learning to walk w/Him, and allowing himto shape our lives. Let us take time today in the Lord'spresence and find rest. Be still, andknow that I'm God (Psalm 46:10).

  8. "Little by little" is not an acceptable pace to many of us who want immediate results. Nevertheless, my experience has been that spiritual growth little by little is far more possible than is instant perfection. The Promised Land is still ahead. Not everything that needs to be driven out has yet been accomplished in us. But we are maturing in God "little by little." (Exodus 23:30).

  9. In Matthew 6:25-34, ******* encourages us to trust the navigation of our lives to God. While we can see the present and past, the future is unclear and foggy. Not knowing what's ahead can be a source of great anxiety. But Christ assures us that we can find peace in trusting God and in being open to God's will. I closed my prayer with praise."So don't be anxious about tomorrow.

  11. I have it also, and it is great, makes my machine work smooth...Garry (AALVirtual@aol.com)
