  1. I have P3D V5.4 and would like to reinstall them again after several years. I have old ones dating back to 219 but obviously for old 32bit systems. I am quite happy to pay for new ones. I see the adverts for the 530 for $35.00 but when I go to pay it says #49.95. I can not work out the 35% or 50% coupons? Basically I want to download and use the 530 and 750 and am willing to pay for them, and use them in P3D V5. How do I do this/
  2. Thanks again Bert. I'll get that as soon as I can afford another one John
  3. All done and working thank you. Sorry for the delay. One more question. I have a very old 530/430 download from about September 2011. Is it possible to get a new version for P3D V4.5 for that? I did try to reinstall them but the installer does not recognize P3D . John
  4. Many thanks Bert Just in case it asks, where do the files finally go? John
  5. Hi. I have just bought and finally installed the GTM750 into P3D V4.5. After the installer refused to work, because it couldn't access the Trainer files. I accessed tyhe download for these and installed it. The GTN 750 finally installed but when I started it in the A2A Bonanza, it tells me it has no database. How do I get and install whatever database it wants? John Khan
  6. Lovely, look forward to it John
  7. Thanks guys The fuel amounts are not too much of a problem as I found they are easily fixed by inserting the correct fuel amount into the PERF page if the "disagree" message comes up. The alarm problem is the one that bugs me. I went through all the menus and set them how I thought would help, but it didn't. . I did turn OFF the crew alert system in the menus, even though I could cancel that warning when it came up. I'll check to see if that has to be done each time. Never mind, we have to wait until the bugs are fixed, meanwhile I will go back to the Airbus and do a few. Is there any panel startup state that doesn't produce problems? I try to shut down the 777 to a state where the APU is running, ADIRU and Emergrncy Lights are OFF. PACKS are OFF, Somewhat similar to what a new crew would find when they get on to do a flight. I take the shut down procedures from the manual without going as far as turning the batteries and everything off. John
  8. Now 1800 nm. into the flight and there are red and yellow warnings in the master caution and no way to turn them off. there is still nothing wrong with anything. I did not use the cold and dark start, this is the first flight today. This is not good enough.
  9. Thanks, but I don't use the cold and dark startup, I use the 'previous flight' state, and try to remember to shut everything down to an APU running and ready situation. John
  10. KATL to RJAA about 40NM east of Macon VOR (MCM). FL300. Hdg 304* Track 318*. Wind 232/111 Knots. Ouch. Only 12 LEGS pagesand 5436 nm. to go.. John
  11. Hi I have tried to do the KATL- RJAA. DL295 flight a couple of times and I'm getting a strange fuel system readout. I load 120,000 Kg. fuel and set everything else up, I think, correctly. Before push and start, the FMC/PROG page shows about 26.5 EFOB at RJAA. After push and start, and during the taxi out, I get an "Insufficient fuel" message on the FMC, and a "Fuel Disagree". When I check the fuel quantity in the FMC/ PERF page, it has gone down to about 77.000 Kg. for some reason. The fuel quantity on the Menu/FS Action/FUEL page is still showing 119.5 Kg. or so, but the FMC/PERF page shows that 77.0. It is easily correctable by re-entering the fuel amount where necessary, but I'm wondering why it does it. Just as a thought, - sometimes I forget to turn on the Centre tank fuel pumps until I see the "fuel in centre tank" warning, and it might have happened when I switch these pumps on. I don't know if that has something to do with it. I have the flight going at the moment and don't want to fiddle around with it during this time. It's no big deal and easily correctable but I thought I'd mention it. Regards John khan PS. The "Fuel Disagree" message does happen on the first flight with mine aswell. (Just saw the other post). PPS. I'm also getting a yellow "CAUTION" on the Master Warning that does not go off. There are no issues that I can see, and I've checked the "Siren Reset", - or whatever it is in the equipmenbt page and it is ON. This warning stays on all flight but doesn't seem to affect anything else. I have alsso turned off the crew alert warning.
  12. Thanks Peter I couldn't get the Livery Manager to find them, it only got the fictional ones from the livery downloader. Anyhow.... Doh....... I never noticed that. Great liveries. Regards John
  13. I have downloaded several liveries from Avsim onto my desktop. I started the OC. ( I have auto update so it is 1.6.1), to install these liveries but the OC can't find them. The ones downloaded with the OC show in the install box Where do I have to put them so that it finds them? Thanks John
  14. Yup, no worries AaronZurich WAS the hub. Everyone makes mistakes, but I feel that if items are going to be published, it is important to get facts right. My wife comes from Switzerland and when she saw that, Ouch. - It's like saying New York is the capital of the USA.John
  15. Please advise your staff reviewer Aaron Graham that Zurich is not the capital of Switzerland. As in many other countries, just because Zurich and Geneva are the most recognised cities in Switzerland, it doesn't mean either of them are the capital. The same applies here in Australia,- as most people think Sydney is the capital. It is in fact Canberra. When publishing items, please get your facts correct. The capital of Switzerland is Berne.Another thing.Swissair no longer exists, it went broke through bad management some years ago. There are still Swissair aircraft around but not the airline. There is Swiss International Airlines (called SWISS).John
