  1. To all who intend to buy this product, especially those who regard customer service as an important facet of any commercial relationship, my word of advice is DONT!Its not that the product itself is dated, pedestrian and somewhat "gamey" despite its over-realistic user interface. Its not that the "technology" adopted in the product is cumbersome, particularly the so-called speech recognition. Its not overly related to the fact that listening to the SAME voice over and over and over and over and over again is annoying and less than realistic (Hell's bells, even ATCC had a variety of voices, eventually). No, its the guy who owns the product that is the problem. He is rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. He is not a practitioner of customer service, nor does he behave like a vendor who appreciates his customers.I ordered the product from him in mid-December 2011. I used "Paypal" to pay the US$60. I was allowed by paypal to use my postal address, which is a PO Box, as part of the ordering process.I received an email from aerostudios ten days later to say that they didnt accept PO Box numbers. That's it - nothing about refunding my purchase, nothing about resolving the issue, nothing near thinking that I might have made an honest boo-boo and could I fix it.I sent a reply with my street address on it.Then I got a notification from Paypal a day later that my purchase had been refunded.I sent another email to the vendor, explaining what had gone on, and asking him if he wanted my business. I sent a link to a Wikipedia page that explained "Customer Service"The diatribe I received in reply was abusive, threatening and downright rude!I replied in kind.I then attempted to purchase the product through FSPilotshop.Com - an outfit that is particularly helpful. They had some problems. Turns out the file they had from the vendor was an old version. They fixed that pronto.I registered the product again, via the aerostudios site, on the 17th of January.Today, after several helpful conversations with FSPilotshop.Com, I got an incredibly abusive email from the aerostudios vendor. The text follows below:QUOTEYou were refunded your purchase of ATCsimulator2 on 1/2/2012 with aerostudios. This refund was due to your smartass remark telling me to visit some wiki link on customer service.I do not tolerate such rude and arrogant behavior. As a result, and the author of this work, I rejected your payment and exercised my right to sell my product to you. You, in turn, purchased the software from my vendor, FS PILOT SHOP. It is I, who makes the determination to complete your purchase and unlock the product. I will not do that. I have instructed FS PILOT SHOP to refund your money. Maybe you need to learn to treat others with respect if you expect the same in return.UNQUOTESo, if you want to buy the product, go ahead, however if you want to deal with someone who is in the modern world, who respects his customers, and believes enough in his product to back it up, then dont.
