hi everyone Thanks for the tips, yes i am using active sky (recent beta patch for 2012 version) and had wake turbulence set to 100%. i wiull reduce this and let you know how it goes as almost all incidents occured in heavy trafic situations and i received late clearance in landing behind other aircraft. Hi everyone My last 4 flights into EGKK have been disasterous as on late finals and as i cross the threshold at 50ft to rwy 26L at EGKK my PMDG737NG suddenly rolls and crashes. I have experienced this a few time before at other airports in SA too. Has anyone experienced this before an if so what is causing it? Any pointers ould be appreciated. Rory Hickson

Hi everyone When performing an ils, one gets the descision heights off the airport charts. the number is usually bold (for eg ils 26L EGKK is 400) followed by a number in brackets (200). i have worked this out to be the descision height in MSL (bold) and AGL (in brackets) - but which number do i enter onto the BARO settings on the instrument panel? Hi everyone I have a problem with my flaps bieng stuck at 25degrees. At first i thought it was due to me approaching my 250hr mandatory service and the fact that i have auto failures on, but i have subsequently cleared that (applied the maintenance early) without avail. If i use alternate flaps i can get them up but the forward slats stay down and as soon as i close the alternate flaps protective swith ( i.e. disengage them) the flaps return to 25 deg. The flap leaver which is fully down does not budge, either with joystick or button commands. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks, Rory

Hi Everyone I am new to JS-41 and LOVING it! Hectic learning curve (startup and engine managment etc as well as the FMS!) but a beaut of a plane. Well done. My question is that (im sure im not the only one ;-) managed to shut down my engines in-flight unintentionally. I cant seem to find any forum that covers startup in-flight. can anyone post some pointers? Many thanks in advance Rory

Unzip the file to your root FSX folder (same folder your fsx.exe file is located in). This is important, it won't work if extracted elsewhere.2. Run the PMDG_737_Activation.exe file. *IMPORTANT* - if you're using Windows Vista or Windows 7, ensure that you right click the file and choose "Run as adminstrator." It will not work unless it's run this way.3. Enter your 24-character PMDG 737 NGX license key - this begins with "NGX8" followed by 5 more groups of letter and number characters.4. Press Activate Product.

to whom it may concerni purchased and installed 737ngx and enjoyed 2 weeks of bliss - such a superb product! Well done!I unfortunatly had my FSX installed in the default location, so ran into permission problems with my flightplanning software. So after 2 weeks of use, i decided to do a clean install of FSX and re-intall to a non defualt location (C:FSX) and i followed the pmdg instructions to the book. Upon re-installing my 737NGX my FSX crashes as soon as i select the 737ngx (it displays the 737ngx in the main aircraft window but it doesnt rotate it like it does tother aircrafts and then freezes and i get a windows fatal error message). All other aircraft run fine including my PMDG747-400.I have tried un-installing and re-installing as well as both SP's (SP1 and SP1b) but it simply crashes my FSX. All recommended changes to fsx.cfg have also been done. Afer the clean un-install, i was not prompted for my licesnse key again!!??Any assstance or pointers will be appreciated.Many thanks

Hi allI have recently had a few issues with FSX which has promted me to uninstall it and re-install. The reason for this is i had a new PC and installed FSX to the default location while using windows 7 (not clever - i know).My 737NGX was working beautifully before the unistall though (it was FP software that promted me to uninstall FSX!!) previously in the default location.However, after doing a clean uninstal of FSX (as per the unistall steps posted on the PDMG website), my FSX crashes when i select the 737NGX (windows returns a fatal error and re-starts FSX). I can load and fly any other AC (includeing the PDMG 747-400) but numerous attempts with at loading 737NGX are unsucessful. I also wasnt asked for the registration key upon installation.....Any ideas or pointers would beappreciated.Thanks,Rory

hi everyoneI have an issue with not ieng able to save my panel state. no matter what i try, the panel state (after a few basic changes - like lbs to kgs display - are made) simply does not save. nor can i find the saved pael state in any of my folders after it has been done.can anyone please assist?May thanks,Rory

Hi everyoneIs there some documentation out there on how to operate and use the HUD? I have just installed NGX on my new PC and cant find documentation on how to operate/setup the HUD. Also, i am struggling to view all the data when it is extended, despite a number of attempts to move my POV.Any assistance will be appreciated.ThanksRory

i have the same problem and have tried ALL the above without any sucess It is definitly a DirectX installation problem (it say that the security certificate in one of my cabinet files is not valid!). I am using Windows XP32bit and have searched for an answer to this problem high and wide.......................anyone out there to help? Thanks Rory

Hi all I really need help from someoneI installed the 737NGX basic pack as recommanded and also have modified the fsx.CFG as suggested.The 4 variants of the plane appears well in the airplanes menu. After my choice have loaded, FSX crashes immediately as the flight deck appears on the screen.I tried to reinstall whitout success.During the installation, at the end of the process, I had this message: " DirectX setup is unable to setup due to a cabinet file necessary for insatllation cannot be trusted. Please verify cryptographic services are enabled and the cabinet file is valid. i have searched forums and cant find anything to assist.Can you help me with that, may be there is a relation with the crashing problem mentionned. ?

Hi All I get an error when installing PMDG 737NGX regarding DirectX - Error is " A cabinet file for installation cannot be trusted. Please verify the crytographic services are enabled and thee cabinet file certificate is valid" Is this critical to the installation. After the error is simply push ok. The aircraft is in my FSX at statup and i get the cockpit view etc but as soon as i try move or switch views FSX says it has encountered an error and needs to restart! Any hints?
