Full Throttle Jitter
Thanks John. I think you are on the right track because the issue is not related to the Saitek quadrant since it also happens when you push F4. On another plane [less sophisticated] there is no issue. So I think when you pass the N1 setting [which pushing F4 does] then the throttles will go back automatically. This is a bit of unknown territory for me so maybe more experienced people out there can comment what is normal behavior when you push the throttles all the way up and past N1. Thanks, Edgard

Full Throttle Jitter
Hello, When moving the throttle to maximum, using Saitek quadrant or simple keyboard key [F4] the levers will go to the maximum position and then always jump back and then move slightly up and down. I would assume this is not very realistic. I tried with another plane, like Airbus A321 that comes standard with FSX and there is no such issue. Throttle moves to max and stays there. Anybody is experiencing the same? Thanks, Edgard

FSX with Eyefinity 7 screen setup help
zdp replied to ghetto's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcHope my reply is still relevant. After several months of tweaking and investing in new HW I can conclude [in my case] that what you buy these days is already overkill to make FSX work smoothly.I added 16G DDR3 4-channel memory at the highest speeds I could get, I bought the Radeon 6950 video card, I7, water-cooling. I over clocked to 5G. Used all tweaks know to mankind : It does not make any difference. The reason is that FSX is an antique piece of software and the main SW module will only use one core. Adding better/faster HW and clocking higher just lowers the load on that core [to 60% in my case with scenery setting super high, ORBX weather extreme]. In the airport and on the ground I only get 12fps. While flying I get 25-30fps.But... I then bought FSPS, started it before loading FSX, click on the standard provided settings and BINGO... I get 25fps on the ground and 45+ fps in the air.And that is with fantastic weather/clouds making this a super realistic experience.I have 3 monitors attached using Eyefinity and Wideview on.I have a second video card driving a 30'' at 2560x1600 resolution for the overhead panel.But...that does not work...and maybe somebody can help. I select the overhead panel in the FSX pull down menu and it does not appear. All other panels work and I can drag them to the 30'' monitor [configured as extended].The 'hand mouse symbol' appears, flickers and the frames go down to 6 fps.Nothing can resolved this and I have to restart FSX.Thanks for any advice...Edgard

remove pilot seat in the NGX via FMS
Hello,I have 3 monitors using Eyefinity and unless you change the Wideview parameter in the FSX.CFG file, you cannot zoom out enough to have a realistic view. You are basically with your nose up to the panels. You cannot zoom beyond 0.3 it seems. When you modify the Wideview parameter, the panels are at the correct distance but the view is very distorted at the sides. For instance the EFIS panel on the right has elongated knobs. So if I could remove the seat [like I can in the Ariane 737] then I can zoom my viewpoint a little bit further without the seat obscuring everything].I am using EZDOK.Thanks a lot,Edgard
