  1. Hi Bob,That did not work but thanks for the advise, but I solved the problem it was the display setting somehow getting corrupted, I set the display to 640x480 and bang FS9 loaded up, I then changed the display setting back to my original setting and all working perfectly..CheersDes

  3. Hi, I had FS9 running without a problem in Vista since Vista was released, now it keeps crashing on startup. When I look at the error details the "Panels.dll" is causing the crash, I extracted the panel.dll from my FS9 CD and replaced the one on my system but same problem.I can only think one of the Vista updates has caused this as I did not use FS9 for about a month and FS9 was woking fine before that (i used it almost every day).On the create a flight screen the box where the aircraft is displayed is black and the mouse pointer flickers as well as the busy halo, i can select another option on the left menu and all look fine, but if I click the ok button FS9 crashes I had Vista SP1 FS9 working fine until now, I just installed SP2 to see if that fixed it, no luck.Anyone got any suggestions?CheersDesDell XPS4502.4 GHz Quad Core4GB RAMNvidia 8800GTX 2GB
