Thanks for your advice Roberto, I thought it might be similar but I wanted to create a seperate post in case anyone else had the same/similar issue. I will continue to monitor the CTD upon touchdown thread in the hopes of a solution being found.

Good day Everyone, I seem to be encountering a rather strange issue. Upon loading into the default LIRF (Rome) with the DC6 Olympic Airways, the cockpit with all panels black is shown for a few seconds before the sim CTD. I currently only have ORBX Vector, Global and Europe_LC installed on a fresh P3D version When loading into the default scenario at Eglin AFB and only changing the aircraft to the DC6, everything seems to start fine. In addition, when I load into LIRF with any other default aircraft, everything loads fine as well. Thus it must be the combination of the location and aircraft causing the crash. Thank you all for your help. It seems my understanding of the T&G procedure in the 744 was flawed as I was using Autothrottle for the entire circuit.

Good Day All, I have been flying a few circuits in order to better acquaint myself with the "Queen". Upon touch down, I advance my throttle to 50%, press TOGA and advance the throttle to 100%. However nothing seems to happen, the blue marks on the N1-Column clearly show the throttle position as advancing yet the Autothrottle remains in idle, I try moving the throttle around yet the Autothrottle keeps on bringing the thrust levers back to Idle. Am I simply following the wrong procedure or have I incorrectly set the aircraft up? (My A/T Manual Override settings are Hold mode only) Thanks for the assistance.

Hi All,I recently acquired the excellent VRS Superbug for FS9, after a few flight I decided to set out and find a few carriers to use with it.I eventually found the Alphasim USS Enterprise v2, but once I installed it, I found that it only appearedin Norfolk ( The install file said I had to copy textures into the other 9 CVN-65 locations) however,I don't have 9 other locations.Does anyone know where to get the original base package with all 10 locations as I cannot find it in their freeware directoryor under any Virtavia Products.I already have Flight Deck 6 and ArrCab Carriers with 3wire, but I would like the Alphasim Enterprise as it is still a superior quality product.Many Thanks, SAAF(Ashton)

Hi All,I Recently got the VRS F-18 for FS9 ( I know, its a bit old) but it is still an excellent aircraft!However, I am having frustrating problems regarding starting up from Cold & Dark, whenever i put the battery on,I cannot do fire tests or put on electronics, I have to switch on the External Power to do this, but when i do this, the APU ACC light comes on, and the fire test doesn't say "Bleed Air Left/ Right", the FIRE lights also don't light up. The LT Test also doesn't workI also cannot start the APU at all, it just sounds like it winds up, then the noise suddenly stops. But when I press Cntrl + Eand get the engines up and running, and try to start the APU, it works, The LT Test also suddenly works.Any Help would be greatly appreciated as I love starting up aircraft from Cold & Dark, especially this amazing one! I am having problems with installing the 747( X and FS9) to my external hardrive, where my Flight Sims are installed. The installer says it cannot find the .exe.How can i get the installer to find my .exe and finally installMany Thanks.SAAF
