It's not as polished as the A300, and the EFB could use a nice update as well. It's missing the P&W engines, no freighter, the MCDU isn't as feature-rich as the A300 as well... Semi-finished.

That is not what semi-finished means

They never planned for it to match the A300.

If they promised it would have a feature but never delivered on it, than yeah that would be unfinished.

But they’ve done everything they were asked to do by Microsoft. So it’s finished.

Just had about 15gb of WU updates pushed through the marketplace. I was on the beta run so thought I was basically up to date with everything automatically. Has there been any announcement about this?

It was mentioned a couple Q&As ago there would be a bunch of WU fixes at launch. I don’t remember any details.

The FBW A320neo is miles ahead of the iniBuilds version. Stick to that

That’s not entirely true. The ini has features the FBW doesn’t yet. Like full RNAV and go-arounds

Tried to GSX to connect for pushback.  Kept asking to release parking brakes...I did that

Working fine here, worked for me the entire SU15 beta as well. Make sure your GSX is up to date.

This is the key. I much prefer the IniBuilds A320, with independent MCDUs, better model, better cockpit overall but since it is bound to MS for updates, it'll end up a semi-finished product like the 310 which is really really sad.

How is the A310 semi finished?

The ini A320N will get P&W engines sometime in the future. I personally wouldn’t expect them until after 2024 releases since that’s Asobo’s Focus right now.

That's what's said but what I've seen in the past are far more things are tweaked with these updates than what Asobo reports they've changed.  We can go back to things like night lighting, building size, flight model changes to the Longitude that were changed but not on the official update list.  I love the ground handling improvements of SU15 but the way the Cirrus flies and handles turbulence seems to have changed a bit, still testing.  I can't say it enough, the unreported change Asobo made to the strobe lights on AI planes is distracting and overdone to say the least.  I guess that's another example of non-mentioned changes.😔

Matt is part of WorkingTitle who built the new SR22T. Pretty sure he knows what has and hasn't been touched on it.

I see the water tiles issue has not been addressed (black line/s)

I'm pretty sure that's a scenery issue. Similar to watermasks, My guess it would have to be fixed on a case by case basis, and can't be fixed by flipping a switch, or changing a line of code.

They've been there since launch. Keep making reports about them on the official forums.

The only thing that I have seen affect performance in MSFS is Auto FPS. Never fly without it now. Asobo should hire the developer of Auto FPS.

I don't think they need to. Unless I misunderstood, it was said in a previous Q&A that the consoles version have their own Auto LOD to maintain a consistent FPS, they just need to enable that on PC.

which they mostly ignored apart from that since its launch

Not really, they've done several patches for the A310 since launch. The reason there was so much time between the last few was because of Asobo not pushing them, that was not on Ini.

After disengaging A/THR and AP1 on final, the Master Warning Sound was impossible to mute (ding ding ding until the gate) - did I miss something?

You need to hit the disengage button on the side stick, not the AP1/2 buttons. You can also stop the sound by hit the ECAM's CLR button.

The FIX page does not do anything

I just saw A330 Driver use the Fix info page in his video.

  8. Asobo only suggests clearing your community folder just in case you have an addon that could cause crashing if it's incompatible with the new update.

It has nothing to do with the actual download process.

It's a reliability thing, they don't want people complaining their sim is crashing and blaming the update for it when it's actually an incompatible addon..

doubt they will do anything to improve the Asobo-owned A310 or A320neo.

Your doubts are misplaced. They’ll be adding new engine variant to the A320 sometime in the future according to the last Dev live stream. But imagine with all the focus on 2024, that won’t be until after launch.

There were also bug fixes for the A310 included with SU15.

  10. Having flown this thing for a lot of the beta, I love it. Find it comparable to the FBW, but a bit better, as it has full RNAV support and go-arounds.

The only issue I have with the ini Neo is the T/D ETA fluctuates all the time.

On the FBW/Fenix once I hit cruise, the T/D will basically stay the same the entire flight maybe only changing by a couple minutes.

The INI Neo’s T/D once hitting cruise can sometimes fluctuate by up to 10 minutes

TERR INOP on a modern airliner....but a fully detailed cabin. priorities are a bit backwards mates

The devs said they didn’t include the terrain radar because it was causing performance issues. Since the NeoV2 is a default aircraft, they probably had stricter performance benchmarks to hit.

Also the devs building the cabin would would likely not be the same devs working on implementing terrain radar, that’s two completely different skill sets.
