  1. Thank you both.I'll see if I can get the P67 + K in my usual store, hopefully the difference in price should kill me.I checked the cost of the different parts online and the total is pretty much the same I'm getting from the store. So I wouldn't be saving that much and I'd have to build it myself. If they can't provide the P67 + K solution I'll see what to do next.I wasn't planning about overclocking in the beginning, so it wouldn't be a big deal, provided that I can obtain al least 20 fps steady in FSX with the H67 + non K solution. Thanks again for your kind help.I'll give a call this afternoon to the store and I'll let you know.
  2. Hello guys,I've been doing some research in the last few days.I found some info that I couldn't understand very well.Talking about the system I'm gonna buy.I read over the internet that H67 and i5 2500 do allow some overclock, but of course not as much as P67 and 2500K.Could you tell, since it is the info I couldn't find/understand, which frequency can I expect to obtain from overclocking with H67 and 2500 on FSX?My problem is, as I said, that I'm low on budget and if I switch from those to P67 and 2500K I'll have to pay much more since the store where I'm buying the system from doesn't have those part in their stock. Thanks again.
  3. Thank you for the fast reply and your "welcome" as well.Actually I'm a bit short on budget, that's why I wasn't planning about overclocking. The cheaper option is about 690€ without o.s. As for the o.s. I was thinking about the "cheaper" 7 Home Premium 64bit, I guess should be ok.At the moment my system is Q6600 2.4GHz (mob is "locked" and couldn't upgrade bios), 2.7GB DDR2 and GT220 2GB.FS9 is performing ok, but FSX really struggles. That's why I desided for the big step.I hope I'll be able to move bars in FSX a little bit to the right still having around 20FPS at least. The real frame killer, in my opinion, are clouds with FSX (they were also with FS9).What could I expect in terms of FPS in a cloduy/rainy day?
  4. Hey guys,Hope I'm posting in the right section.Next week I'm gonna order one of the two.- Cooler Master Elite 430 - 650W PFC- Asus P8H67-M (H67/R3.0)- i5 2500 3.3 GHz 6Mb- 8Gb DDR3 1333 CL9- GTX460 1GB 1024Mb GDDR5or- Centurion 5 II - 650W- Asus SABERTOOTH Intel X58 LGA1366 / USB 3.0- i7 950 3.06GHz 8Mb LGA1366- 6Gb DDR3 1333 CL9- GTX460 1GB 1024Mb GDDR5Second one is about 120€ more expensive.Please tell me if there is a big difference between them and which performance I can expect from FSX.Thanks a lot for your help.Cheers!
