  1. I didn't realize this. With that in mind perhaps I should find a good Bf-109 and use the sound from it since it used the same DB-601 engine as the Bf-110. Thanks!
  2. Absolutely. I figure using the engine sound of the game's default DC-3 is about as close as I'll get. How would I go about doing this? Do I just copy the DC-3 sounds folder into that of the Bf-110 and use the aircraft config tool to make the game look for those sounds?EDIT: I figured it out! Just copied the DC-3 sounds folder into that for the Bf-110 and voila!...I've got sound. May not be the DB-601 engine, but it's the closest I think I'll ever get. Thanks again for the help!
  3. I appreciate the welcome. I'm hoping to become a bit more versed in FSX and the way it works. I'm not trying to do anything cosmic with it, but there are a just a few planes I'd like to have good, solid models of. To be honest I'd like a payware Bf-110, but I don't think there is one available. The link to the website I got it from is below:http://www.simviation.com/1/browse-Vintage-66-8It was the Bf-110E package on the page. Does that help?
  4. Hi all!I'm new to the forum and fairly new to FSX so pardon the ignorance here. I recently downloaded a Bf-110E by GroundCrewDesign and I can't seem to figure out how to make the sound work. Does anyone have any thoughts? Are there any better Bf-110 models out there or is this one about as good as it gets? (Don't get me wrong it seems great, but I'm just asking if there is a better one out there). Nothing in the readme indicated to me that getting the sounds to work would require an additional download...
