I've used the airliner yoke for 6 years now and works flawlessly once calibrated. Although I can understand the original poster's concern or paying $1K for a product that doesn't work, the judgement to buy one product over another based on customer support is not always cut and dried. Six years ago there were few choices in the quality, and I stand firm on the quality. The components are quite ofter the same in the industry, however the labor to assemble is always an issue to be aware of. Just read any forum on user assembly of purpose built cockpits. Everyone has a different perspective. I will always take the professional look and feel over the gaming or non-aircraft specific products. They array is getting better for the consumer, but as with everything we have to be willing to work around issues on our own.
