  1. Hi! Short question: in the FMC FS Menu, under payload there is the possibility to set pax up to 234 (14 +48+172), in wikipedia there is a max pax count of more than 314. Does anybody know where the difference comes from? Thanks, Oliver
  2. Well, cool stuff even gets better:-) Both 777 and ASN are just great! Oliver
  3. Hi! I can observe sudden cloud changes using ASN and PMDG 777 SP1. The ASN option "Auto load flight simulator plan" is enabled. The PMDG 777 is configured to write the flight plan and to load it to the fsx. In general this option works great. In addition, the flightplan is automatically written and loaded to the fsx at every waypoint - I guess this happens intentinally. You can see this behavior by flying in window mode and observing the timestamps of the related files simultaniously. ASN correctly generates a new weather file and injects the "new" wethear - but unfortunately without the smooth cloud transition. :-((( Does anybody know a work-around (except disabling the autoload option)? At least a shortcut would be nice to toggle the option... Oliver
  4. no, Speed was just perfect. I think it is a bug. Found follwoing in the known bug section: - Corrected end of path AFDS behavior on approaches flown in LNAV/VNAV. (modes remain VNAV PTH, LNAV all the way to the ground, no A/T wakeup if manually disconnected unless mode manually changed, low airspeed, or TOGA pushed)
  5. Hello! It's exactly the same in my case (I'm definitly not in an under-/overspeed condition). Example: A/P in HDG select and altitude select mode. Activate LOC & APP. LOC captured. Disengage A/P AND A/T. FD active, G/S is captured, A/T activates when G/S is captured. To me it seems to be a bug. Oliver
  6. I think ILS autotune does not work, if a secondary flight plan is activated. Here a simple (and academic) scenario to reproduce the problem: Create a primary flight plan, go to secondary flight plan, click “copy active” and then activate the secondary flight plan. The AP perfectly follows the route, but does not autotune ILS. I know that this scenario is in fact useless, but it perfectly nails down the problem. You can try any variation in changing the secondary flight plan before activation, the ILS autotune problem remains. For my installation, the only way around is to reselect (the same) approach / ILS runway. I would be happy if you could try it with your MD-11 – or provide an explanation, what this behaviour is good for. THANKS,Oliver
  7. Hello,I'm playing around with the MD-11 (FSX) and wonder how RCWS works. I enabled and disabled the option available under the menue, but hardly see a difference. From the documentation (Systems, page AUTO.10.5): With no force on the control wheel, the aircraft holds the current roll attitiude.Does it mean, that if I disable RCWS, the plane goes back into zero roll? Or does it symply not stabilize the bank angles and with this option turned off the pilot might have to correct manually? Thanks for your answers!Oliver
