  1. I have looked at the suggested page in the manual and am now confused as just before there is this instruction: "IMPORTANT: AFTER LOADING THE PANEL STATE FILE, DO NOT MANUALLY CONNECT POWER TO THE AIRCRAFT IF USING THE FS2CREW PRE-FLIGHT EVENTS. LET THE FS2CREW PILOT SET EVERYTHING UP FOR YOU OTHERWISE FS2CREW COULD WIND UP ‘TURNING OFF’ YOUR POWER SOURCE. THIS IS BECAUSE CERTAIN SWITCHES CANNOT BE READ IN THE PLANE, SUCH AS THE STATE OF THE EXT AVAIL/ON LIGHT." This seems to suggest that FS2CREW will set up the external power?
  2. Thank you for the response. I was sure I had seen a video where the PM called for the GPU to be connected before running it. I must have been mistaken, my apologies.
  3. Hi, Banging my head against a brick wall. Recently purchased product. However the PM doesn't appear to be completing the pre-flight correctly. Shouldn't he request for the GPU to be connected and turn it on? The PM turns on the batteries and performs a fire check but nothing else. (I have the APU set to be controlled by user.) P3D loads into a default aircraft and I have set the panel state to Cold and Dark. I have also reset the mouse Macros. Not sure what I might be doing wrong?
  4. One thousand apologies. I had indeed assigned the main button as the on/off button. Thank you for the quick response.
  5. Hi Bryan, Sorry what I meant was that when I press the main button to start the procedure which I have assigned as a button on my Saitek throttle. The panel disappears and reappears within a fraction of a second but nothing else. This seems to me that the the button press is being recognised but something is preventing the action taking place. Curiously the secondary button works in response to ground crew , cabin crew etc. Regards
  6. Hi All, Pulling my hair out now. Having a problem with FS2CREW and the Aerosoft AXE starting cold and dark and launch FS2Crew 'button control'. All works fine until pre-flight is about completed. When I press to 'begin start procedure' the fs2crew panel flashes and nothing else. No matter what i've tried I'm still getting the same problem. I have reinstalled both products and have latest versions. Very frustrating as I can't seem to get to the bottom of this problem? Any help greatly appreciated.
  7. Think I've managed to solve it. Looks like there was a conflict between FS Captain and FS2Crew. Anyway restored the panel.cfg to before FScaptain and seems to be working.
  8. Hi All, Recently fired up the Aerosoft airbus for a flight only to find that when I activated FS2crew the panel appeared as an unusable black bar. No amount of clicking or moving provided any functionality. I re-installed the airbus and this seemed to fix the problem. However after exiting and re-starting FSX the problem has returned. Anybody any ideas? Nath
  9. Gutted about this! Wanted to be 36000ft over central Europe in a Ryanair 737-800. Oh well! Gonna stop trying, open a cold one as already suggested and keep checking back here until it's fixed!
  10. Exactly same problem here (UK). Straight home form work like a giddy school boy, Bought, installed and booted FSX. Then no activation server. Hope there isn't a maximum number of attempts before it thinks it pirated and destroys itself! And why shut down FSX?
