Changing "e-mail" on PMDG e-commerce.
Renato Roberto Dos Santos posted a topic in PMDG General Forum
Good evening. It is possible to change the e-mail adress from the PMDG Store? I no longer use the e-mail used to buy the PMDG products. When i was on site to Log ON, they changed the "schematics" of log in and sent me a link to reset the password. But i do not use that e-mail anymore (it was not a free e-mail, was 8 us dollars per month) and i can't reset the password to log in and download again my aircrafts for backup. Thanks in advance, Renato Roberto São Paulo / Brazil -
Performance on Cruise altitude (77W)
Renato Roberto Dos Santos replied to Renato Roberto Dos Santos's topic in PMDG 777
Thank you. I will look at CG to see if there is any difference. At the moment (another flight), i kept in default 7.5%, but i don't know if i can use the value that FMC shows in the "payload" page. When you set the passengers/cargo and FOB on that page, the CG goes to around 25%, but i don't put this information on PERF page. -
Performance on Cruise altitude (77W)
Renato Roberto Dos Santos replied to Renato Roberto Dos Santos's topic in PMDG 777
Yeap, is was pretty normal. -
Hello, guys. I would like to know if anyone has the FPPM to confirm a few information for me. I'm performing a (not so long) flight right now and my actual weight is (in kilos) 254.461kg. According to the cruise page, the optimun flight level is FL354. The MAX is 364 and the recomended has changed to 360 a few minutes ago.. But if i climb to FL360 (i'm in FL340 right now), the margin between stall speed and overspeed is very narrow. Any change in wind direction or intensity will result in overspeed or stall . That's why i wil maintain FL340 until i have, at least, 1000ft of margin between cruise altitude and MAX cruise altitude. The max and recomended are so close. I cannot use the auto step climb (at least in my opinion), to avoid any problem like that. It's almost the same behavior on 737, i didn't see in 747v2 yet. Do you guys know if this behavior occurs in the real aircraft? Trying to climb so close to MAX Cruise altitude? I will stay in FL340 for now, because the diference between the whole flight in FL340 (8h35) and step climbs (340, 360, 380) is only 400kg (kilos). According to flightplan, my FOD is 8.749kg and according to FMC, is 12.0 (without step) and 12.4 with step, all calculated using airlineperformance.net Thanks in advance, Renato Roberto São Paulo / SBSP Brazil

Hello, guys! A question... it's happening with me the "stuttering" when using the mouse on FSX (boxer version, i didn't have time to move to FSX:SE yet). Sometimes is impossible to move in the flightdeck, it looks like the mouse goes to 0fps or 2fps and the simulator continues on 25/30fps. This behavior is with any aircraft installed. Do you guys know how to resolve this (or at least minimize the problem)? Thanks in advance, Renato Roberto São Paulo / SBSP Brazil

Tail numbers "mixed"!
Renato Roberto Dos Santos replied to Renato Roberto Dos Santos's topic in PMDG General Forum
Hello, Yes, all the liveries are installed from OPS Center. Almost all... only one is not from OPS Center, with is Qatar B777 One World. But i used the OPS Center to install. -
Hello, guys! I have an issue with all my PMDG tail numbers. Every aircraft i select to fly, the tail numbers are mixed beween them. For example, if i select B747 from Lufthansa (D-ABVM), it shows my KLM registration and flight number, Also the callsign is from KLM instead of Lufthansa. This behavior is in all PMDG products installed (B738, B737, B777, B747 v3). Do you guys know how to fix this? Thanks in advance, Renato Roberto São Paulo / Brazil

A lot of times, in different places (C:, E:, External Drive, etc...). I click on "Livery downloader" and then the message "Downloading Livery Data" appears. And it stop working. I can remove or instal repaints if i download repaint from other places, but not from OC. And this issue with repaint registration is killing me. I don't know how they can store the paints that i've used a lot of time ago. I've just instaled the "B77W United Airlines" repaint, and the registration in FSX is "Air Canada C-FRAM"....

Good evening. I have a strange problem concerning the instalation of PMDG B744 and others. First of all... i cannot create or respond a topic on "Main Support forum" (i don't have the button enabled, don't know why), that's why is here. Before reinstall the B747, 777 and B737, i had a few repaints from PMDG. After reinstall, following the sequence b737, then b777, then b747, my Operations center does not work to to install liveries. When you click on menu, they simply close. So i donwoladed a few repaints from AVSIM, to 747, and after instalation and on FSX menu, the registration of the aircraft, and the flight number appears from previous instalations... My B747 from lufthansa, for example, it shows G-VROM. This registration was from Virgin Atlantic, a repaint that i was used to fly in FSX... I removed the repaint, and reinstalled the same repaint... in FSX menu appears G-CIVX from British Airways, with flight number 150, the same that i used before remove completely all of PMDG aircrafts (including the folders of instalations). Anyone here have an idea of what is going on? Renato Roberto São Paulo / BR

Thrust Decrease After Takeoff
Renato Roberto Dos Santos replied to adamant365's topic in PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II
I don't have idea, but i had the same issue with GE engine. Departing from OTHH to Frankfurt, runway 34R, the takeoff was D-TO2, FLX 66º with 94,8% of N1. Even with the AT in "hold", a few seconds after takeoff, the thrust decrease around 5% and then came back to 94,6%. I noted because of the sound decreasing way before 1.500ft and then rising up again. The throttle on my joystick is always at idle, only used for taxi. The same issue was noted on the next flight, departing from Frankfurt. Rwy 25c, D-TO1, FLX 52º with 95% of N1. I will eliminate the throttle from command menu in FSX and test only using the F2 / F3 in a few hours, on the return leg to Frankfurt. Renato Roberto SBGR / Brazil -
747 V3 Fuel consumption problem
Renato Roberto Dos Santos replied to tatin's topic in PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II
It's strange to talk about this, but i have the same issue, BUT... on both versions of B747. In "inverse" mode. My example. I've just finished a flight from Frankfurt to São Paulo. 11 hours and 38 minutes (i always use real time, and flying in real time). My ZFW was 215.2 tons (metric) and my FOB calculated by PFPX was 123.9 tons (profile by Fly Precisely). Estimating São Paulo with 14.7 tons on board. Until here, pretty normal, i'm used to land with around 12 tons in T7, in real, despite the diferences. I've just arrived with 22.9 tons... 8 tons above the flightplan. If this happens in real, i could be promoted due to such a wonderful economic flight. But.. If you do a short or medium flight (Dubai to Frankfurt, for example), the diference between the calculated by PFPX and the FOB on airplane is 500 kilograms more or less... In this case, extreme accurate. This behavior is also noticeable using the "Old" B747.
