  1. Turns out for me it was mainly yahoo that was shite, I didn't think it was possible but they have a huge area of the north of wales and slightly further inland that has no good level of detail for it so thats why mine was black in large areas. also the stuff that was detailed had clouds in the pics so I've stopped using it and gone for service pack one.
  2. As an update to the condition of my Tileproxy, It would appear that it will load up the area around whichever airport I fly from and then not refresh itself when I leave the circle that loaded, anywhere outside the loaded circle will appear green and low res from afar and when I get there it will try to load but only produce black tiles. If anyone knows how to fix this please please let me know. cheers, murray
  3. Its soo annoying as the potential enjoyment is huge if its working properly.
  4. Hello, Seems a lot of folks are having the same problem with Black tiles being loaded up. I think I have quite a severe case of it, The installation went fine and I used the INI file downloaded separately. However I have had since yesterday large black not just tiles but areas around where I live which is where I like to fly. I've been awake for 30 hours so far trying every suggested fix and I have lost count of how many times I've re booted my PC. In brief I have tried altering the INI to not limit amount of info downloaded, I've tried all the different Service lists, Well 1 + 3 as I've read they are the only ones that work, I've enabled unsigned drivers, Tried with and without security features (firewall and anti virus) I've re installed tileproxy from scratch along with fsx, All this and still I have huge black areas!!!I really really want this to work as its an awesome bit of kit if it does from the snippets of good I've seen. I have no idea how to post my pictures of the phenomenon, If someone would please please please help then I can post some on here and see if my problem can be solved. People of Avsim you are my last resort and only hope to enjoy what should be an amazing and supported payware product.
