  1. Thanks a lot Olli! Really very useful information every SiSi* should know. *Sincere Simmer
  2. I thought there is only one international English ATC language that pilots around the world have to learn, and FSX is using it. So if the VoxATC slogan says "as real as it gets", why is there such a big difference between the two, that I have to learn"the Vox way"? Or let me put this way: if one day I'll be making the pilot licence, is learning the vox way exactly the same way as in real life?
  3. Yeah, but I need the menu COM options in English - otherwise, how am I supposed to know what to reply? When ATC contacts you, your reply must exactly be one of the COM text options which is recognized by VoxATC and digitally implemented into FSX as having clicked on that text option. Also for few more other reasons mentioned above.
  4. Found out the solution myself. Go to: (standard FSX Installation) C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\Carenado BARON 58\Aircraft.cfg Open Aircraft.cfg and change the last two lines in red with these in green: InitialXyz=0.52, 0, 0 InitialPbh=3, 0, 0 [CameraDefinition.001] Title = "Right Seat" Guid = {195EAB58-9E4A-1E2A-A34C-A8D9D948F078} Origin = Virtual Cockpit MomentumEffect = Yes SnapPbhAdjust = Swivel SnapPbhReturn = False PanPbhAdjust = Swivel PanPbhReturn = False Track = None ShowAxis = YES AllowZoom = TRUE InitialZoom = 0.15 SmoothZoomTime = 2.0 ZoomPanScalar = 0.5 ShowWeather = Yes XyzAdjust = TRUE ShowLensFlare=FALSE Category = Cockpit PitchPanRate=20 HeadingPanRate=60 InitialXyz=0.55, 0, 0 InitialPbh=20, 0, 340 Then you'll have your Copilot FOV looking exactly ahead like the Pilot.
  5. I have WIN 7 Home Premium 64-Bit-Version, and it's ok if I switch the OS to English completely with Vistalizator, but I still need the FSX English version for different reasons: One major reason is the acoustic COM; it's indeed in English, but its text menu is in German. So how am I suppose to learn and speak the right ATC terminology to communicate with VoxATC, if all menu COM options are in German? Also other reasons like having the library and a lot of mission in English etc... So if someone knows how to change my FSX to English without having to reinstall everything all over again, I'll be most grateful.
  6. I need badly this great VoxATC software, but my problem is that I have the German FSX version with TONS of Add-Ons, and I'm horrified of the idea of having to install everything all over again, and I need the English FSX version badly, that can be purchased cheaply now for $25. So my big question: is there any way without uninstalling the FSX German version, to install or maybe exchange the German files to English?
  7. With TrackIR now I would like to have the copilot position/view (sitting right) looking straight ahead like the pilot (sitting left) and not transverse direction down to the GPS. That would be exactly like in the FSX standard B58 Beach Baron. If someone knows the parameter for the aircraft.cfg and where exactly to be amended, I'll be grateful. Thanks
  8. Thanks for the quick reply. Do you by somewhat or somehow that I have to do that manually by making appropriate amendments in some lua files?
  9. Yes, I know this product already, but this Add-On would be displayed as 2D instrument I believe. Since I use TrackIR I love to keep it real and use the embedded 3D GPS. If its software replace it automatically in all other FSX planes too where there's one, then I'm interested. But I couldn't find any reference to that on their Website. is it as 2D or 3D replaced instrument - can you confirm that please?
  10. I've just purchased the B58, and the first surprise was, that there is no Terrain button on the GNS430 GPS, therefore no map profile to see mountains heights ahead. This is really disappointing, because I love flying the Baron over mountains and valleys with real weather download. That means if you're surprised by a weather front without a terrain mapping, you're dead! Now I had the same problem with Milviz B55, but they had a patch solution, and it's working good. I really wish CARENADO has also a solution for, because this is my first purchase there, and hope the support have a nice solution gift - it's Christmas time anyhow Thanks
  11. I've added FA/18EX from www.vrsimulations.com/ and at the same time all Freeware PW Sceneries from www.strikingsoftware.com to my FSX.When starting FSX, I get an error message referring to an " invalid remote scenery path: "Area.152.cfg". With Windows 7, I've looked for it unsuccessfully in:C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX\C:\Users\All Users\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\C:\Users\<username>\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\Does anyone knows what to do? Or can somobody email "Area.152.cfg" to <[email protected]> where I can copy and paste it manually in the Scenery folder! Many Thanks in advance!
