Update. Thanks to the team at Redbird (Cygnus). They were able to get my sim to accept the cable within about 10 minutes. Now, there is a direct cable that can utilize Foreflight via many popular sims and it tricks the iPad or idevice into thinking that you are really flying wherever your tell your sim you are flying at. This is really helpful for pilots (real and sim) to be able to utilize and learn their aviation apps on the ground but simulating what they are capable of doing in the air. Thanks to Redbird!! Sean

I recently purchased the Redbird Cygnus Home Direct cable and software for my FSX and iPad. I cannot seem to get the Cygnus software to find my FSX software therefore, the cable doesn't "trick" the iPad into believing that my foreflight is really where I am in the FSX. No type of support so far that I can find through Redbird other than a support email and a phone number but I don't have time to call 8-5 M-F so I am trying to find a solution. Anybody tried or even heard of this cable connection? Thanks Sean

Hello all! I need help assigning a USB Numeric keypad for just simple numbers to answer the ATC responses. When I try to use the keypad in FSX, the numbers don't do anything but flutter the screen. The zero button goes to a cockpit screen but nothing else happens. I have looked for a way to assign the buttons to a control and I can do that but I can't find an assignable response for ATC response 1, ATC response 2, etc.... Is there a way to do this?
