So I'm thinking of doing a computer upgrade since FS2004 is becoming an obsolete program for me and I want to get on board with FSX and the PMDG 737NGX. My problem though is that my FPS are pretty low usually in the 10-20 scale (using the PMDG 737NGX, sliders set in a mid-range, 0% traffic and no addons of any sort). So know I am wondering what would be more important to update in order to achieve high performance: my cpu (Intel Pentium E5200 oc @ 3.06 ghz) or my graphics card (nvidia geforce GTS 250)? Also, just to add in, I have been looking at the intel i7 2600k as a new cpu (as well as a new MoBo since my current one isn't the right socket size). Anyways heres my specs: ASUS P5G41-M LE MoBoIntel pentium E5200 oc @ 3.06 ghz CPUNvidia Geforce GTS250 @ 738 mhz 512 MB DDR3Patriot 6400EL 2 GB (x2) MemorySeagate Hardrive - 500 MBWD 1110 - 1 TB (backup storage)Windows 7- 32 bit (Soon to be upgraded to 64 bit) What do you guys think? Also feel free to let me know if I should be upgrading any other component on my computer that I just listed. Thanks :D
