Especially when I need to maintain certain headings and altitudes to follow what it is!No I didn't adjust the Lower altitude, should I do this in line with what the FMC says, eg if the next waypoints after td Is say 28560 feet, should I dial this in the MCP? Again ATC will tell me off,Is there anyway I can fix this AtC issue? Like a better pack for example? One that recognises SIDS and STARS? It looked like Tom in his tute had a pretty advanced one?

Hey all,Still trying to work this out but, how can I do a flight with the default ATC when the FMC wants me follow a STAR, but the ATC wants me turn away from where the plan is? It won't let me fly a star?Secondly, when the plane approaches t/d and passes t/d how come the FMC didn't follow the decent plan? But even if it did ATC would tell me I'm below my altitude? It kept maintaining cruise ??I think I'm struggling with calculating decent points and getting to certain levels at certain time!

Hmmm the dome I'm talking about is towards the front of the plane!! Will try and work out how to post a screen shot!?If that's the case I'm giving up on sim because my computer has so much memory and processor power it's not even funny!!Knowing my luck your probably right!!

I've tried disabling SLI, still no difference, in fact it's worse....What tweaks are they?! Where can I get them?! I will be over clocking soon as I can trust me!!

It may not be the SATCOM.. it looks like a dome... its definately not there when the engines are off wha a pain about the beacon light... ah well

At the minute i'm remedying the crashes by having error msgs pop up all the time... not the best way to solve it but im desperate. you wouldl think there would be some type of fix out there for such a common error, especially after spending the money on a system like this.

The SATCOM thing, is only on there when the engines are running it seems. yeah this is only when i load the tute im doing...

Well im no computer tech, but i was told it was a high end system, Yes i am about to overclock to 4.0 just waiting on a new cooling system.so hopefully i can get higher.. will this be a marked difference?

Is there a way you can get the manifest and pax numbers, load the flight as per normal then manually input all the weight data??There was a option in the settings to disable the Pay load and fuel update? If I do this would I be able to do this?

Hey all,So I completed all the checklists in toms tute, started the plane up went to the external view only to find a stationary beacon light??It was just a glowing red, but sometimes it was off?Any ideas?Also on the roof of the NGX next to the beacon light there is a raise in the fuselage? I know this is part of the 737 800s, but what's is it? And how come it only showed up after starting the engines?

Hey all!'My computer:i7 950 @ 3.20 ghz (over clocked)12 gb RAM2x nvidea 470 cards running SLI1x1tb hdd only with windows and fsx and fsx addons installed1x2 gb hdd for backups.I fly in aust using ftx scenery and now using the NGX I'm getting frame rates between 5- 12 fps at airports using all the reccomended settings! I even changed the screen res to 16 bit colours?Does anyone here know how I can get better performance out of this "top of the range machine"Getting slightly over it!?On top of this!I'm getting g3d.dll errors APP crash"sAnd on the home screen it take a month to load the different boxes eg, select aircraft, select weather, current airport- and then sometimes I get and error and it crashes!!During this it says fs isn't responding, but then it starts responding again?What's the go you think?
