Flight Simulator X was (is!) an amazing experience in 3D, except that runway lights and other effects were rendered at screen depth. This made landing, taxing, and taking off impossible in 3D - an unfortunate problem, seeing as otherwise the game worked great, and flying around in the virtual cockpit in 3D is one of the most amazing simulator experiences I've yet encountered. Has anyone tested Prepar3d using the nVidia 3D solution, or any of the other 3D drivers available, or is anyone aware of plans to update the troublesome lighting effects in Prepar3d to render at the proper depth? Seems like this would be a must-have for commercial simulation experiences. Not to mention 3d is in the name :)
