Downscc, I have looked yet again at pages 0063 and 0097 in the Introduction manual and see nothing like what you describe. Are we talking about the same booklet? Sorry but I'm not savvy enough to know what a Kollmans page is, please enlighten me. Does your barometric pressure change with clicking the "B" key? ben

Bryan got the config mgr. to operate by redownloading program, but it is not as obvious in how to use as the B747 and 767 joint efforts nor the Ifly737. Thanks for your help. ben

Scandinavian and Down, I appreciate your efforts to help, but we aren't making much progress. I have once again looked at page 97 in the introduction and see no reference to barometers or setting them. I use MSFX default weather selections, no add-on types, I generally fly in storm conditions to improve my pilot ratings in vasf for my virtual airline. I can manually change my barometric setting with Barometer wheel, but this is certainly a pain compared to clicking the "B" key. Is this the best that can be done? Ben Metcalfe

Scandinavian, Clicking the "B" doen't change the pressure which stays at 29.92. Doss I do not find any barometric reference on the Introduction pages you mentioned. ben metcalfe

My 777 is stuck with a barometric reading of 29.92 which creates a problem with landings at airports with readings different from the default standard reading. This leads to hard landings on VAFS flights with my virtual airline. When the plane was installed this was not a problem, but at some point in the last month it appeared. I can't think of anything I might have done to cause it. Any solutions, please. Ben Metcalfe

Bryan and Pete, I am not finding it in my start menu. It was there initially after downloading but when I told the popup YES , delete the shortcut, it disappeared from my start menu but then came back on my desktop where it is still and is still telling me that "FS2Crew777exe" has been moved or changed and the SHORTCUT will no longer work and do I want to delete it? I don't know how to find it with Bryan's "Micr...................777exe" reference. Well I added the 777 pmdg to my list of fs2crew programs and I have a few questions; The download placed a icon on the desktop titled "CONFIGURATION MANAGER" and when I clicked it said that the subject had been moved to a new location and that my "SHORTCUT" was no longer in action and did I want to delete it? I clicked YES and away it went and I haven't got a clue where to go to find it. I assume Bryan knows the answer or anyone else is most welcome to answere this dumbos query/ bensmini

I went to the Pmdg website innto livery downloads and do not see the 777 listed. I know it was there because I added a lot of liveries out of it several months ago. Whats going on there? bensmini

The problem is the slidebar does not go down past the opening group of liveries, therefore you can't see what is below, I can barely see that the next group up may start with delta? but you can't make it out. So the real question is how to make the slide bar continue down. Ben Metcalfe

I've had the 777 for a long time but am just now getting around to flying it. So the need to apply proper liveries came to mind and I opened OPcenter to get after task and found that the slidedown list airlines stopped after the first 5 companies and I haven't figured out how to get to go farther. As I want to load at least 3 more in the alphabet past "A" does anyone out there have a solution to this problem? If so please let me know what to do, but as I am a complete computer clutz please make the solution detailed with out too much computereese. with hope eternal, Ben Metcalfe

When I open FS2crew FSX Start Center the expected actions take place but when I put the 747 or 767 in ready to fly mode the fs2 does not come up when the "start" tab points are selected. However in the 747 the green flt manual is on the "dashboard" and brings up the chart when touched by the cursor. Both programs show as installed on my program list in control center. So what needs to be done to get these two planes working? Also when going to the plane should you select "Exit to FSX" or something else? all answers will be appreciated Ben Metcalfe

I am going nuts trying to re-install fs2crew on my ifly737. 1. I went to the flight1 to reactivate my key on the purchase 737 button/voice bundle deal. 2. Fight1 reactivated the key 3. I downloaded the file all 26 minutes of it. 4. When tried to reactivate using key option in the re-install selection, the file came up with NO KEY to reactivate, a blank page. 5. Also it would not reactivate with the account name/password option. 6. How do I get to reloadable situation, I have tried the fs2crew and Flight1 sites but have found no way to go forward. Any help out there, would be much appreciated . Ben Metcalfe

A quick add-on to post above, When trying to start Engine 2 get warning that I am "not configured for engine start" and "start lever cutout". Have no idea what this means and how to I get configured for engine start? Ben

Hi Bryan, Latest from my end; Found and made the key assignment switch, main button now operative. Still don't understand the starting procedure problem. When do you make the fuel run levers switch to "ON". I normally move the levers once the N2 rate passes 20 or you suggesting a different timing? Found cfg file for all 3 planes but see no 2crew info but then I don't know what you mean by open with notepad. I am a computerKlutz and need step by step instructions when entering into the inner workings of the computer. UAC is set to disabled and am running everything as administrator So what next? best wishes, Ben

Hi Bryan, Thanks for your response to my post containing problems I am having with my 3 fs2crew equipped airplanes. IFLY737 - I use the Ctrl+E to get the engines started because the 2crew program doesn't start them and I want to fly. I tried the change of "X" as my main button key with several others, didn't work. PMDG 747 - I have a number of push back options; the FSX default, GSX service from fsdt, and AES at 7 airports. But I never use them in combo, and have not used them with the 2crew apps. I do know that if I do not load 2crew I don't have the circling occurring. I was thrilled to see the engine start work after the failures with the 737 and 767. As to the non appearing of the 747's 2crew, I am somewhat confused as to what and where this Plate1.cfg is. I found a cfg ref on my pmdg747 listing but saw no mention of 2crew. I also looked at the same cfg listing for the 737 and 767 and there was no mention of 2crew and I know they are working as the panels come up when summoned. I have only seen the slew mode mentioned one time in the FSX and have never turned it on. So it seems to me maybe we should get our computers hooked together and see if you can fix mine. I have Team Viewer 8 and TeamSpeak with my Deltadva, an Ipad, and unlimited phone service. So what do you say I am retired and can be available 24/7 look forward to hearing from you. Cheers

At present I have 3 planes with fs2crew installed, and all 3 are having problems, I will handle each separately below IFLY 737 Originally installed program worked well except it would not START ENGINES on the program requiring the E+Ctrl manual start. However a month ago it ceased reacting to the commands in the left panel (start engine.....flaps...etc), however it would still work in the right window. It would not work FA, but would in BRief and PA. So it is less than satisfactory at present. PMDG 747 Originally installed worked well, including START ENGINES!, but when it met PB on conclusion of push back it launched into a series of circles that responded to the throttle by going faster and bigger with increased settings any attempt to stop or steer were unsuccessful. By "jumping over" PB I was able to taxi out to rwy at 2-3 mph GS, but when after getting TO clearance I upped the speed to 5mph and it immediately went into the circle act. If I operate the plane without fs2 NO problem. Less than satisfactory! Presently fs2crew is refusing to load, have no idea why. LEVEL D 767 Installed works somewhat well, although sequencing sometimes gets fouled up, however when reaching PB once again the circle thing happens. Also this fs2 program will not start the engines. Went to Crtl+E. NOW I have strong computer running Windows7, 16GB, GeForce GTX550Ti and have not made any changes or downloads that would have affected my fs2. So the problems seem to overlap but I would like to see them solved as I can see that they would be enjoyable to use. Please help this oldtimer trying to play a young mans game Ben Metcalfe

After owning it for 4 months I decided to give 2crew a try on my pmdg 747-8i. I followed all the tutorial instructions to the letter and after careful review operated the program up to PB (pushback) the first problem it did not respond when I buttoned the ground crew and then when the plane started to move it went into clockwise circles which could be controlled speedwise with the throttle but it would not respond to any steering inputs and after a number of attempts to correct this problem gave up and shutdown. So this next time I very carefully took each step, double checking at every turn, and once again success at each activity until PB, back to the circles! I then tried my plane without 2crew to make sure nothing strange had happened to it since last flown. Nope, it was just fine. So the problem was with 2crew. Another reload with 2crew activated same problem at PB. So how do I cure this problem?? Please HELP. Ben Metcalfe ps; I am running windows7 and have pretty strong computer.
