  1. That is my advice after months of tweaking. Plain and simple, default, no tweaks to NCP. Not even changing optimzed to prefer maximum performance does anything!!! Many gaming articles mention that can hinder a computer. My FS2020 just runs the smoothest and less stuttery than ever on default... it is noticable. Now I am on a ASUS ROG 703 Chimera laptop if that is any help, but I can run on ULTRA no issues on default FS2020 aircraft and scenery at 30-50 FPS. I always have. But it is an i9 beast for a laptop....

  2. amazing how you all don't actually think they'll do anything to help! I am disgusted how ungrateful this community is actually, when every two weeks or so there is an update ... updates made to intentionally ruin the sim? not on your life! watch the youtube interviews, developer chats why don't you? See for yourself..the 3 man team is fantastic.... very genuine .... but yet still, "everybody" complains..... Now, everybody loves X-plane, yet when XP11 was the "only" sim the last few years, everybody was like "Austin won't fix it, Austin doesn't care" blah blah blah

  3. Hey I got about 200-300 hours in real Arrows... this thing, looks fantastic and sounds "pretty good" but FS2020 doesn't have a very flexible sound system - however GA sounds better than the jets which can't do engine sounds properly at all as I see it.

but for this one it's nice, fun, flies good and allows some cool GA flying... fairly well done. Speed, acceleration, performance is close to the real thing. FPS is fantastic too.

To me, a great add-on so far....

  4. just run everything on ultra and stutters may reduce ! Yes the opposite of what you think however on my laptop ... I was getting a somewhat stuttery 60FPS on default very high but when going to default ULTRA my FR may have gone to 30-45 but it is way smoother!!! try it (1080 asus laptop)

  5. I think it is, after extensive testing, on my ASUS G703GI laptop (i9 geforce 1080) it just seems like everything runs so much smoother, less jitter, less stutter, etc... I am not imagining this either... my framerates in GA may only be 30-35 virtual cockpit most areas vs 50 + on default very high, but it is smoother, and looks much better it's noticeable....

SEA in the A320 will bring me to only 17FPS which is a no go... but at PHX I got about 27 barreling down the runway on ULTRA default... not bad at all .. on a laptop which most claim nobody can use (wrong wrong wrong)..

    opinions? Ultra is smoooootttthhheerrrr

  6. I know plenty of guys that fly Airbus'es ... they can hand fly them all they want just fine it's a personal decision.... autopilots can fly us to minimums far better and rock steady than the human hand ... and most of the time our "get home itus" interfears with us wanting to hand fly all approaches.... when celings are above minimums, I hand fly the ILS.... for fun! Gotta be home, then it's an autopilot landing!

  7. all these comments about it being a game and how experienced simmers don't like it or find it real , gimme a break! There's no more real simmer than me nor with more experience (I was Lead Design on Flight Unlimited III, and have 10,000 hours now flying corporate jets for a job) . and I love this new FS2020. Now, granted I fly in real ATC daily, deal with systems on board, fly FMSs all day... so yeah, In FS2020 I just enjoy the beauty, graphics, aircraft but do not do a lot of "fiddling" or systems stuff nor FMS... so I do fly it very simplicity. However for what it is worth, it's got the best feeling of sitting in a cockpit, perspective, graphics etc... and pretty good sounds although that's subjective to me..... still I have given up on my beloved XP11, with all the add-ons I bought, because this 2020 is just much darn fun or spectacular to give up on..... for me it's the BEST sim.
