  1. Hey guys,

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 yesterday and I was wondering is it possible to set the ngx up so the FMC shows on.the tablet? I know you can do this with airbus x so I thought surely pmdg have modelled this too... If its possible could someone explain to me how to do it or point me in the right direction. :-)

    Thanks,

    Dan

  2. Hi there, I have been away from the sim for a while. Now I am returning, before I left I was having an issue with FTX England and GEX Europe, with the fact that with FTX england running GEX europe was blurry.

I was wondering, has there been a fix/update for this and if so where can I find it,

    thanks,

    Dan :)

  3. Hey guys had a weird issue that has only just ever occurred today, never before seen it with the NGX...

I am flying EGNX-LEAL... and carrying 9000kg of Fuel, and it says insufficient fuel, which isn't correct, this is enough fuel.

And also now, it says that there is 8223nm to my top of descent, which is also incorrect.

Everything is entered correctly with regards to the route... never seen this problem before. I've spoken to a couple of others who also are having this issue with the NGX.

Any ideas as to what's happening guys?

    Thanks,

    Dan

  4. Hey guys,

I have found since installing ORBX England (which is amazing), that when I fly over europe, my GEX Europe scenery is blurry and takes a very long time to load. I only noticed this since installing ORBX England and I'm not sure why it's happening...

Any Advice as to how to fix this?

    Cheers,

    Dan

  5. Hey guys,

Yesterday I received a Norwegian airlines 737-800 DVD that I purchased ( it's very good! ) and I noticed that the pilots switch from their instruments to PAPI on Finals but I can't quite catch what distance from the threshold they do this. I was wondering if it is a set distance for all airports or whether or not it varies on airport/weather etc?

    Kind Regards,

    Dan

  6. Hi guys, I created a thread about a week ago asking what ENB's people used here and a user replied saying he had found one that was good during the day and not too dark in the cockpit at night. However this thread doesn't seem to be here anymore so I was wondering if that user could re-post his ENB settings in here?

    Kind Regards,

    Dan

  7. I've yet to do a circling approach on the line yet, but I remember doing them in the sim, great fun. Quite unsettling being that close to the ground and banking this way and that. Hopefully I'll get to do one at some point!

It is pretty scary, even in the simulator my heart was still racing! It was brilliant to have trackir though, for the visual awareness that was brilliant!

  8. Hey guys, I am currently in the cruise on the way to chambery airport, never been here before. The rwy in use is 36 which is a circle to land approach, as fas as I am aware you intercept the loc for runway 18 first and then circle to land rwy 36 but I have no idea how to programme this into the FMC.

The only charts I can find are these:

    https://www.sia.aviation-civile.gouv.fr/aip/enligne/PDF_AIPparSSection/IAC/AD/2/1210_AD-2.LFLB.pdf#page=2

    http://www.flyvip.ru/tmp/lflb.pdf

I guess I should have taken a look what the approach was like before I set off... LOL

Any help how I would programme this guys?

    Dan

  9. Sure :)

I am using REX Essentials and if you want to download my theme you can search for it in REX, it's called DANNY | REALISTIC. I also have my 'Cloud coverage denisty' in the fsx cfg set to 12 so it reads CLOUD_COVERAGE_DENSITY=12.

In terms of in-game settings I have in the REX config manager cummulus clouds definition set as fluffy, cirrus cloud definition set as chaotic and cumulonimbus cloud settings as towering. In the options my 3D cloud RES is 1024X1024 and my cirrus cloud res is also 1024X1024.

Hope that helps, let us know how you get on!
