Direct to bug
I made the flight again and this time with no weather. After a direct to, the plane deviated again from its route. I tried to reintercept the route with heading select and then reengage Lnav but it didn't work either. Vincent.

Direct to bug
Yes that's it. As I know from a friend who is F/O on 777 the FMC draws a new magenta line from your present position to the next waypoint and the plane will follow it. But in this case it deviated all along this new route and when it reached the waypoint the plane was 1.1 NM right to the waypoint. Edit: Oups, Spin737 answered the first ;-)

HI Tabs, It was an european flight from LOWW to LGKF. Flight plan : LOWW SID SASAL UZ21 BABIT UT23 TADAM UM127 VAL UN732 KRK UH51 KESAL STAR LGKF FL390 cost index: 40 If I remember, the first direct to was from TADAM to MOJ (freq 308). Regards, Vincent

Direct to bug
I don't think it's coming from the wind/weather: In this case the wind is 267/25 TAS = 453 kt and the track is 176°. So we have X =3.3° . Heading 179 is correct to compensate the wind component. And as I said, I have the same problem with no wind. Furthermore the plane is deviated to the right, which would mean that it's over-compensating the drift. This is not the case as we can with the calculation. Vincent

It's the same story with no wind/turbulence. I also have deactivated the thermic effect in FSX.

Direct to bug
Hi guys, I have a problem with the direct to function on the 737 NGX. When I proceed a "direct to", we can see on the PFD et ND that I'm 0.4 NM Right of my route and this offtrack is still increasing. When I was reaching the waypoint the plane was 1.0 NM offtrack!! I've inserted the correct wind in the FMC. Sometimes around 0.4 – 0.5 NM the plane tries to go back on its route but it's still flying on a parallel track and it's still continue to deviate. Does someone else noticed that problem when you proceed to a direct route? Regards, Vincent.

737 SP1c sounds not working
Hello,I tried with the "Q" toggles and I checked the PMDG sound options. All sounds are at 100%.I don't know why it doesn't work. All worked perfectly with the sp1b 3118.Some news:When I try to play a sound file in the 737NGX folder > Switches, I have a message which says that windows media player can't read this file (C00D11B1) but it can read every engine or APU sound files.

737 SP1c sounds not working
Hi everybody,After installing the SP1c I noticed that sounds of the switch, flaps lever, parking brakes, TCAS test, GPWS, gear, seat belts sign etc... didn't work anymore.I uninstalled the 737NGX, then re-installed it again with the SP1b and every sounds worked perfectly. So I tried to reinstall the SP1c but it's the same story. I just have the engine sounds working.Does anyone have an explanation to this problem? Thanks in advance.Vincent.

Aircraft not on the route
Hi guys,Sorry to ask again for another question but I'm curious to understand the system :As you can see on this new screenshot, the aircraft seems to be exactly on the magenta line but it indicates 0.07R.If someone can explain me why the NPS indicates a 0.07R deviation. In the same time I take the screenshot with the "POS" button pressed. So we can see the IRS position and the GPS position too. Does the 0.07R deviation indicate the "white plane" position or the GPS or IRS position? Or maybe something other? Thanks for your patience and explanations.Vincent.

Aircraft not on the route
Ok, so there is a difference between the route the plane is flying and the route represented on the ND. The plane is flying a curve but the magenta line isn't represented by a curve on the ND but by a straight line.

Aircraft not on the route
Hi Leffe, thanks for your reply. But I don't understand why it goes offtrack when flying a long distance leg (~100 NM) and this even with zero wind and then, when it goes close to the waypoint (~20 NM), returns on the magenta line.NB : I set the ND on 2.5 NM to show the deviation from the magenta line. :wink:Vincent.

Aircraft not on the route
Hello everybody,I noticed something strange during my last few flights.I proceed a direct route to a next waypoint. The distance between the aircraft position and the next waypoint was about 100 NM. During the flight on this 100 NM leg, the aircraft deviated all the way along from the magenta line. The max deviation was about 0.26L.I tried to bring him back on the magenta line using HDG select and after that, when I pressed again LNAV it deviated again from the magenta line. It's only when I was at about 20 NM from the waypoint that it started to go back on the magenta line.I would like to know if it's normal to have such a deviation from the track?NB : I attached a screenshot from the problem.Regards,VincentWindows 7FSXPMDG 737-800/900 with SP1bNo FSUIPCNo other Addon
