  1. What can we do to enable a fully working ILS Freq autotuner while starting from a C&D state without using the C&D state setting provided with the B777 on install?
  2. I wonder if any of you who use the PMDG 737 NGX have had this issue. I have the UK2000 Scenery for East Midlands installed and I have been using the PMDG 737NGX coupled with FS2Crew and I have Activesky 2012 installed aswell. During last nights flight from Malaga to East Midlands I was flying at FL380 and I was flying against and very strong headwind, over 90 knots, I suffered a sudden Buffet alert and my speed dropped to almost stall speed, to get my speed back up I had to descend to FL320 where I continued onwards. On approach to East Midlands I turned to establish the localiser for RWY 27. I established the Localiser but about 10 seconds later my first officer said 'ILS Deviation', However it continued down the ILS and teh glidepath until about 400ft where the Autopilot suddenly disengaged and I tried to land it manually and failed to landed the plane gently. I have no idea why the Autoland failed, I had teh ILS frequency of 109.35 in both NAV 1 & NAV 2 dials and active, I had 271 in both Captains and First Officer's course dials. I've flown to EGNX 4 times, the first time I flew before I got the UK2000 scenery and three times after. The first flight which was online(Non-UK2000) I landed perfectly, the 2nd Flight which was also online I had another Autoland issue similiar to the latest landing, the second was an offline test flight from Gatwick to East Midlands where I had a good landing, and this third flight was online and suffered a autoland issue. All these landings were using the PIGOT1J Star Approach. I also had a similar issue with the First officer saying 'ILS deviation' while attempting to land in Napoli which I was using default scenery

  6. Well it does effect me somehow because everytime the FA doesn't start the APU properly the preflight check list goes wrong because when the window heats are on and I say On he says 'Are you sure about that?' and then when I go to call ground for push back, I have the intcom switches switch on as they should be as per the manual and yet I get no response. Having restarted the FSX and when the Apu is started properly the checklist runs okay and I do get a response from ground etc.
  7. Okay I installed the service pack release a couple weeks or so ago and I set FSX to startup in the 2d panel mode. I configure the FA to do a Apu start, he does all his flow up to the point of switching the apu on but he doesn't do it properly as he on presses the switch down to the on position instead of switching the switch down to start. He then waits and then switches the two switches for teh apu to start providing power to teh plane but nothing happens because teh APU hasn't spooled up. After this happens I have to do it myself and then when it comes to calling the ground crew or using the pa nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?? To get FS2Crew working properly I have to shut FSX down and restart it.
  8. Heya,I'm beginning to have issues with Autoland. I flown to 3 airports, Cardiff, Sofia and Fuerteventura and on each landing the autoland has failed and I don't know what went wrong and why. I dialed in the correct ILS's into both Captains and FO ils's dials, dialed in the correct course into both bourse dials on the mcp I've enter the runway length and elevation into the HGS. I establish the ILS Loc however when I look at the HUD 'NO AIII' is flashing and the speed dial doesn't switch on from VNAV which remains on. On each occasion I have ended up either overshooting the runway or having a hard landing when I have tried to land it myself. Can somebody help me?
  9. Okay having read the posts I have uninstalled Traffic X and I tried landing at Gatwick 26L again and for teh first attempt tonight it worked!!! I shall never buy anything from Just Flight again!! Thanks for the help guys!! I can now enjoy my PMDG 737NGX again.
  10. Okay I am at wits end, I have tried all night to Autoland my 737-800 on the runway at Gatwick. I selected the 26L ils approach Timba1D, i put in my flap refs in teh fmc approach page I input the ils freq 110.90 in both ILS dials on the radio stack i dial in 10879 into the hgs, I dial in 259 in bother course dials on the mcp I then monior the flight as it approach the turn to est localiser, I'm at 3000ft and descending to 2000ft to lock onto the ils as per the gatwick ils chart i adjust flaps etc as required I click on the app button on the mcp and then the course dials suddenly change to 079 which is the course for the 08r runway. as I reach 5.5 dme where the glidescope begins i click cmd b but it only stays on for 2 seconds and i click it again and cmd a goes off and i click cmd a to put it on and cmd b goes off. and after that lets just say it wasn't happy landings.I have tried it at least 5 times and each time was a complete failure
