PMDG 777 ''RW/ILSFreq Error'' Help please!

Featured Replies

Hi!

I have a problem with the PMDG 777. when I am selecting the ILS approach I recieve this messege in the flight computer ´´RW/ILSFreq Error´´. Does enyone know why this message appears and how to solve the problem. Because I can't activate the localiser or the approach button when I am approaching the runway?

Select RAD NAV page, delete the manually entered freqs and she will automatically select the correct freq/crs. You probably started cold and dark, this is a known bug with cold and dark starts.

okay thank you very much :)

What can we do to enable a fully working ILS Freq autotuner while starting from a C&D state without using the C&D state setting provided with the B777 on install?

Until the next update that fixes this issue the only thing you can do is to go to the CDU NAV RAD page and DELETE the ILS and the two VOR frequencies to set them back to autotune mode.

If you start in any other state that the aircraft is powered (ext power, APU or engines running) this is not necessary.

Or  you can  shut everything  down per  the  fcom  and  than  save this panel state  as your  cold/dark panel  state  as this was suggested by another  user  on another  thread
