Thanks once again, now about the route as I am pretty familiar with it. There is only one route to and from Isafjordur, it's flown by two airlines Icelandair ( the main airline in Iceland ) and in the last years by the regional Air Iceland. The route is from Reykjavik: BIRK - SID: RATSA ( above 3000 ft ) - MYRAR ( at or above 5000 ) - SKALM - then - RE- between 6100 and 4500 ft where you start to descend to -OG- ( 2900 ft- min 800 ft ) and finally -IS- between 1000 and 800 ft where you turn to heading 262 to BIIS. The types of aircraft used are Fokker 50 and DHC 8 - 100 series only and if you are one of the few who had the chance to experience it as a passenger in reality you'll will never forget it ( see the video below ). But I can assure you one thing, properly landing there in a PC flight simulator for an experienced pilot is way harder then in reality ( I witnessed it yesterday, but promised not to talk publicly as the result was pretty embarrassing .
