  1. :( it wasn't good...completely forgot I was low on fuel till I landed at an airport that didn't have any... It's funny though when you have passenger's and you run out of fuel they start crying and worrying. Of course I ran out of fuel like 2nm from the airport to turn in a 200nm job.... :(78329146.jpg12426024.jpg57825669.jpg

  2. It should have the option to turn it off.....and also confirm before you skip to way point.......the other night I was en-route on a 200nm multiplayer flight/job......and about 3/4 of the way through I went to respond to someone....saying "no"......and the chat box wasn't open so when I typed "no" it started loading....and I thought ##### is going on....then realized it skipped to way-point......quite annoying way to ruin my flight lol! :LMAO:

  3. np, yea I had to start a little early tomorrow, I'll prob host a later one on Sunday. These flights usually last 3-4 hours but doesn't matter if you can't stay for the whole flight. you could also join up mid-flight, you could probably pick up a job wherever we are at the time, or just tag along for fun.

  4. nice pic ak.Here's the flight plan I have for tomorrow (5pm EDT)(9pm UTC). I added airport rnw's also. We will try and get a job around HILO with destination around Honolulu/Dillingham or somewhere on the island of Oahu.Send me your e-mail in MS Flight if you want a better quality version I could send you if you want to print it out.maulejobs2.jpg

  5. Our flight worked out pretty well...most of us were able to pick up a job around the Honolulu with destination Hilo (about 200nm).Here's some screens I took. Also I'm planning to host another flight on Friday 5pm EST (9pm UTC) if anyone is interested.86172312.jpg85600354.jpg94606007.jpg85173553.jpg53107626.jpg10650053.jpgSorry azure was doing a check list when you landed.. :(42263938.jpg92971473.jpg21017554.jpg68542605.jpg

  6. Here's a quick way to set it up.1. Click start and in the run bar type: cmd2. Then in the box that pops up type: ipconfig then push enter3. Note your Default Gateway IP, and IPv4 address.4. Type default gateway ip into your webbrowser, in most cases 192.168.0.15. Login to your router and find the port forwarding section. On my D-link its under Advanced>Gaming6. Check enable if there is such a box, Enter a name (MS Flight or something) then enter your IPv4 address into the IP address Box.7. In the UDP ports to open box enter

    53,88, 1863, 3074

In the TCP ports to open box enter 53,80,443,1863, 3074

(according to Window's LIVE ports, not sure if Flight uses any others)8. Save all changes

  7. I found someone post to open port TCP+UDP 1863,3074 and UDP port 88. I opened them but would like to hear official word from Microsoft about it.Here's a quick way to set it up.1. Enter a name (MS FLight or something) and enter your IPv4 address into the IP address Box.7. In the UDP ports to open box enter

    53,88, 1863, 3074

In the TCP ports to open box enter 53,80,443,1863, 3074

(according to Window's LIVE ports, not sure if Flight uses any others)8. Save all changes

  8. Also make sure your graphics aren't set to high. This is a major cause of lag when people turn their setting higher then their computer can handle. Also your connection is very important, I'm still waiting on the official ports to open on router for Microsoft Flight, can't find this anywhere.

  9. cool shots guys. Yea would be nice if Flight could handle 32 players. Also, I'm hosting a flight tomorrow night Wed 9pm EDT (1am UTC), so join my session if interested. Departing Kalaeoloa en route to Hilo Intl. I made the flight plan fit 4 Maule jobs available at Kalaeoloa whose destination are Upolu and Hilo Intl. (we will be stopping at Upolu en route to Hilo). Will be interested to see if most of us can pick up one of these 4 jobs. If you don't have the Maule feel free to fly along in another plane.

  10. nice video simmo, let us know when you put up part 2. lol @ your checklist, i was afk so thought everyone was waiting on me so i hurried and took off... apparently some people were outside there plane walking around too... lol.here's a couple shots of the flight we just finished....85717493.jpgattempting the canopy challenge....24414117.jpgazure taking off just in time.....83553660.jpg

  11. nice Simmo, let me know when you post the video. Its kinda hard to get everyone to go into a traffic pattern without someone as tower :( A few nights ago fangstar78 was the p51 so he would speed to the airport, land, then tell us when to land which worked pretty well, and was a little more organized.Heres was the last leg of the 262nm journey yesterday...123zb.jpg

Hey Bud, Any flights planned for saturday or sunday?
Not sure if I can do a flight today, ill know in a little while, I'm definitely planning for Sunday though.

  12. I thought it would add an interesting if the MS Flight team added a fuel log function for some added competition. A log that would show where you fueled up, and distance traveled. So lets say we take off from PHTO and do a flight plan that is 200nm stopping at various airports. Whoever used the least fuel (while keeping up with the pack) wins! So people could take a screenshot of the fuel log after the flight to show that they didn't fuel up anywhere, and their distance traveled (that would match the flight plan) after that fuel up.sorry, didn't mean to double post the topic, I used my back button to edit, then it double posted it.
