Its not the sound because when I hear everything perfectly. The copilot does not respond, then I switch to another checklist using the main panel and then switch back , the copilot will respond when I call for the checklist and I hear everything fine then. So I call for preflight checklist, nothing happens, I use the main panel and switch to before start cheklist, go back to preflight checklist, call for preflight checklist, the copilot will respond with the correct actions. I call for the before start procedure, nothing will happen, use the main panel to switch to before start check, switch back to before start procedure, call for before start procedure, copilot does his thing.

This problem to my 737 started when I installed the 767 voice version. I setup everything and start my flight. When I call for preflight checklist I can see that what I am saying is correct with the text at the top but FS2 Crew does not reply. I found out that if I open the main panel and using the arrow keys, I can move to another step and then return to Preflight Checklist, call for checklist, and everything goes as normal. Later, when I want the before start procedure, I have to advance to another step, return and then FS2Crew will continue. I have to do this for every checklist throughout the flight but other than that, everything works normally. I have no idea what the 767 would have to do with this or if it has nothing to do with this, I only know I had to do this when I installed it. Thanks,

An update for you. I took off and called for gear and flaps as before. When the issue came up before I had called for the after takeoff checklist after the flaps were in. This time I waited until just before 10k feet and the rest of the flight everything worked as advertised. During the descent, the FS2CREW module had the little dot in the corner and everything was good. I called for the approach checklist at about 8000 AGL and the FO answered Check and did not else the rest of the flight. The problem seems to stem from a timing of calling for the checklist. Even after the FO went on strike, the module still showed the small dot in the bottom corner as the system is still in approach mode and never moves to the next phase. When I had the problem on takeoff, the FO would still move the flaps when told on landing but I was thinking he only did that because he was stuck in TO mode and was getting the flaps because that is what he does in takeoff mode.

Bryan, To help with this issue, I just had it happen to me. After takeoff everything went pretty well until the After Takeoff Checklist. Once I called the checklist, the FOs answer to everything was Check and would not actually accomplish the step, Seatbelts to Auto had him say check but not turn the switch. The rest of the flight had the FO answering check to everything and not doing the task. I am 100% sure also that the service pack is installed. Hope this helps somewhat.

I have aproblem with the FO not flipping switches. Take for instance engine start, when he goes to start the engines, the overhead mini panel will open but the starter switches wont be pulled out for start. The throttle mini panel will open but the fuel control switches will not be moved. I have to go behind the FO and flip all the switches he should have. Thanks for any help.

I recently had to do a complete reinstall of everything due to a hard drive problem and I have had this lingering problem since. Before a flight, I will set up the panel to what I want it to look like (Collins MCP, HGS installed, single cue flight director, etc). The next flight, I have to reset everything up again because it resorts to the default. I know that it woud save before I had to reinstall. Any help would be great. Mark Barnette

Thanks Bryan, It was actually that simple. It just did not dawn on me because I could hear everybody else.

I had a recent need to format my hard drive and reinstall everything. I installed everything in the best order I knew how but when I try to run the PMDG 737 FS2Crew, I end up with something strange. When I start it up, the SDK starts fine, no errors there. When I talk into the microphone, I see the test box at the top show what i am saying. When the Gate agent asks me if it is okay to sart boarding, I reply yes, and the gate agent acknowledges that I spoke to him. But, when the co pilot comes back after the walk around and tells me that he is ready for the checklist, I call for the preflight checklist, I see it in test at the top of the screen, but he does not answer me. The same thing goes when I ask him if he is ready for the departure brief, he chooses not to answer me. When the gate agent tells me that boarding is complete, i say thank you, and he tells me to have a good flight. But that copilot does not want to answer me. Mark Barnette

I had every problem imaginable including no ground crew, FO calling V1 at 60 kts, not being configured for engine start, and CDU preflight not being complete. The PMDG charlie update fixed everyone of my problems.
