I recently had to do a complete reinstall of everything due to a hard drive problem and I have had this lingering problem since. Before a flight, I will set up the panel to what I want it to look like (Collins MCP, HGS installed, single cue flight director, etc). The next flight, I have to reset everything up again because it resorts to the default. I know that it woud save before I had to reinstall. Any help would be great.

UAC... just disable it.

 

or if you are too afraid to, keep bothering with running everything "as administrator" to achieve the same effect.
