  1. Ok I asked this question before but the answer was not clear and cut. When I open FSX i select the aircraft, time, location, etc. Now what about the weather tab? Obviously I dont want to select a weather theme cause I dont want that. Now that leaves static weather, real world weather updating every 15 minutes, or user-defined. What option do I need to select? To my understanding the LWE will inject the weather into the sim by a selecting timeframe or distance flown. Thanks for the help. Justin
  2. Ok I have two questions. When on the main FSX screen on the weather tab, what do I click. I have always used real weather udated every 15 minutes or do I need to use user defined? Also with the weather engine working, the sky seems to be a little too blue for comfort. Yet from others users screenshots they look the same as mine. Maybe it has something to do with my Rex settings?? Just wondering if its something with the lwe or rex settings or its just how it is. Thanks for the help. Justin
  3. Thanks for the information Stephen. I purchased the product a few days ago. What do I need to do to make sure I have the latest version avialable? Is it best to just wait for a few updates to go by before updating the program if I am content with my current state of the program? Justin
  4. So I assume I need to wait till the next update? This is when there will be a solution to the weather engine just updating the surrounding weather out of the middle of nowhere? Just trying to make sure I have a solid understanding of the situation. Justin
  5. Stephen, Thanks for the quick response. I have disabled the TrackIR software like you suggested. I'm plesently pleased with the dam and ahm in the camera controls. I'm satisfied with that for right now. A few questions after initial flight test. I was flying out of KATL this morning and was climbing through a nice deck of clouds. How come when climbing through the clouds I could still refernce the ground? It seems that the clouds are not as thick as they should have been. Also as I was climbing through an upper layer of clouds all of the sudden the ceiling dissaperead and they became scattered and few? Just a few concerns of mine. Other than that thouroughly enjoying the program. Justin
  6. I've recently purchased the Opus Fsx software. I have a few concerns. I have a well built pc with Intel I7 oc 4.4 16 ram gtx 670. How come when running the software my frames per second drop to an all time low 10 frames per second. Is there an answer for this? Additional information is I'm running Rex Essentials for the textures. Could TrackIr5 have any impact in the fps using the Opus weather engine? This seems to best a wonderful program and I'm just trying to utilize it to its best potential. Thanks for the help. Justin
