Hi, i have searched and read several topics on this forum and around the web concerningen the difference between Academic and Professionel License, and all places say there is no difference except the watermark in the top corner... But when i read on the Prepar3d.com site, it shows there are differences in the two licenses, i would like to hear if someone could explain or elaborate on them (the highlighted features): Would i also have a problem with my system specs: Win7 64 bit Nvidea GTX 580 16 GB Ram 120 GB SDD Intel i5 3,4Ghz or i7 3,5Ghz (at work now can't remember which one) Thanks in advance, hope to be Prepar3d for take-off soon :-) Regards, Morten

Hi Community, Yet another time i need some advice from this very supportive community, i saw that there was a lot of sceneries from Taburet, and at a acceptable price, but can't find any reviews on their products and are wondering if they are quality products or just a loss of money... Because i am considering buying 4-5 of there sceneries depending on other simmers experiences with their products... Hi all, I am really liking the XP-10 experience, but i becomes a little monotone, just to pick a aircraft and a flight path between to airports... So i wanted to create a small story to use for giving the flights some background, purpose and feeling... But i need some help, here goes (sorry for the much text): The Mafiosi Pilot. Flying missions as a mobster pilot, different type of missions, locations and aircraft, for example: VIP transport, Sightseeing in the old country, drug-runs from Mexico, money-laundering runs to the Caymans etc. Locations are: Italy (especially Sicily), New York and surrounding area, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Northern Mexico, Colombia, Caymans, Florida, Los Angeles etc. Example of a mission: 15. August 2011 at 08:00 New York, La Guardia Airport VIP Transport Bombardier Challenger 300 The Don of La Familia, have a meeting with a corrupt congressman in D.C. Fly the boss to D.C. ------- Here is where I need help from the community: Good locations (sceneries) and mission type idea’s… Is there a way to have your flight rated after it’s done, so I could say the mission failed if the rating was bad, and after 3 bad ratings you are send to the Hudson River with concrete shoes… Any other comments or advices… Most of these thing i can handle them just with word and imagination, but the rating or similar of my flights is the real "bugger", so here i really need some advice or help...? I have been just a short time with XP-10, and are enjoying every moment more and more... And the community is also one of the best, supporting and helping even newbies like myself... So i am very happy with my plunge into this great sim.. My ordering list of payware aircraft are: * DC-3 * Challenger 300 * CRJ-200 The 737 also looks very impressive but it aint my kind of aircraft...! Hope you will enjoy your XP-10 as much as me and rest of the community..

Thanks for the advices. I am really split between the Challenger and the DC-3, could of course buy them both, but my behind can only sit in one aircraft of the time, and my brain can only learn one system at the time... hmmm... If just there was a discount or similiar for buying all three... :-) I wouldn't blink for second... Guess it will end up with, being: * DC-3 * Challenger 300 * CRJ-200 Hoping this solution will give a smooth learning curve towards the CRJ-200...

Hi community, I am feeling its time for me to change from to General Aviation Aircrafts something a little bigger, i am considering the following 3 aircraft, but dont know whats the best, i have always flown GA's and by low-level VFR... So i am afraid that some of these beast could be a too big of a challenge to master, but you'll never know if you dont give it a try..!! Hi Community,Now i have been flying all weekend for the first time in a X-Plane simulator the XP-10, and are loving every moment of it... But i really are loving bush flying and saw there where these two addons for XP-9... So finally my question, does anyone have tried them in XP-10 and are the recommendable... I love low-level flight so its important to me that the scenery are of good quality at low-levels...I tried YouTubing videos of the XP-10 with these addons but cant find any..!If this super community could recommend other bush-sceneries it would also be very welcome...I am still new in X-Plane so thats why these may seem as newbie questions...!! :-)Regards,Mo'

I have and intel 320 ssd with 250 gb... Was considering to use it. And i got 16gb RAM in my system... So it should help...

Hi,I am new to the X-Plane series, and have just ordered the XP-10 (hopefully arriving tomorrow)... I was wondering if installing it on my SSD drive will give some advantages, it help only with loading times in FSX...Secondly i am on a Win-7 64-bit does it also give some advantages...? or have i understood correct it will dont help anything...Thanks in advance and hoping to becoming a solid member of the XP community..Best regards,Mo'PS; Does anyone know if the military jets of Barry Leger will work in XP-10..?
