Are you serious?? the idea of this poll is to give PMDG a general idea of number of 2d fans so the options cover all the possible options considering 2d development.......so simply you can choose option 2 and have yr fancy VC without 2D !!!people like you who want a fourth option ( no 2d at all) have bad thinking because you have mistaken the conept of this poll!! Ok guys.......I will post these resolutions and hope it will be the END of this useless discussion...so thumb up instead of adding another comment that will not change anything............ I think PMDG should consider these points seriously and i am sure it will make all simmers satisfactory with it : 1) First suggestion: PMDG can make an 3D VC model and a FULL 2d representation of VC cockpit as an expansion pack at EXTRA CHARGE. 2/ second suggestion: PMDG can make an 3D VC model ONLY and ANOTHER version with ONLY 2D model without including th 3d VC ( 2d representation only) and price these two independent model separately according to man hours each model has taken.( maybe the 2d will be more expensive than 3d, PMDG has the decision here!). 3) Third ( less likely) : PMDG can make an 3D VC model and a FULL 2d representation of VC which is the same approach that has been done with NGX. Dont forget to LIKE.

i agrre with you, but if the 3d VC have the same performance in FSx like 2d a topic like this will not be exist anymore!! if you want to say buy anew hardware i will tell you that one can not throw his 1400$ PC in the trash and basicly buy a new one because his pc a 2 years old machine.......for new games you can simply replace your PCI with new one........but not buying anew pc that require a new motherboard hence new PC!!! by the way i have i7-920 3.32 ghz and i cant throw it and buy the 2nd generation intel ivy bridge because simply intel released the third generation which require anew motherboard and the story continues......one should buy new hardware only if prepare 3d can release V2 and gurantee to all users that with certain hardware requirements simmer will be able to have very good FPS even with most complex and denes 3rd party add-ons :rolleyes: B) :lol:

i dont have a free time to revice all of the forums topics and not start one that have been discussed before!!! i post a topic that represent my opinion and i dont care if it has been discussed before or not!! FSX is a crap program that must be used for demonestration purposes not for flying in a valid VC that has been made only a year ago and it is the first one to represent the real thing with good graphics and simulation........so the 2d cockpit should be included in any future product of any company so that the simmer has the chance to simulate an aircraft with reasonable graphics performance and fluid FPS not to struggle with having additional 5-10 FPS!!!! and cry simmers spend months try to configure their fsx.cfg file and waste their time and money buying new cpus and liquid cooling stuff...etc...me and every simmer ( End User) should spend their money for a new sim that have the value we will paid it because it is simply not the job of the simmer to adjust crapy programms but to spend his time learning flying and operation of aircrafts :Applause: :Whistle: :Clown: :LMAO:

i have my cfg file tweaked by venetubo......i have very good hardware that can run FSX smoothly but when add-on installed the troubles begin so that i feel that FSX was built to be used with defualt aircrafts and light add-ons , but complex ones like ngx hit the FPS alot and i hope prepar3d will fix this and one can have a sim with more eye candy graphics abd fluid exp with complex add-ons like NGX.........

thank you for useful information, english is my second language so i didnt get most of your post but i understand that you mean that you need a reference like the nose of plane or the upper edge of the aircraft to know what corrections are needed due to winds and shifts....i totally agree with you that 3d give you the feeling of all effects on aircraft unlike 2d, but my point was in an unreal flying ( fsx) 2d give you more flexibilty to handle IFR more than 3d that assist you better in visual approach for example, i have a clear view of PFD and ND in my NGX VC but the 2d panel are more clear and comfortable to look at.........

i didnt post in order to make 3d VC simmers to move to 2d panels becuase i personally fly in VC and rarely use 2d!! but i noticed that due to FSX limits the ultimate handling and experience simmer can get on PC by using 2d panels away from comparing 2d with real airplanes cocpit views!! i mean by using 2d panels all systems concepts can be understood and simulated more accurate and deliver more control on all buttons, again i always fly in VC but feel that 2d gives me more feeling of the flight characteristic than 3d vc although any person would say that since a cockpit is a 3d space so it should be modeld in 3d VC.......i mean aviation fans will only experience the real thing only by builting home cockpit and use FSX as background film, or to fly real full simulators...........and for the experts you mentioned they suggested 30 fps because it is actually the max output of buggy code of FSX so they have no other choice)!
