  1. Hello, wanted to post an update to Kabronicus regarding my issue. Flight has loaded correctly on my computer after changing the fullscreen value to 0. Once the game was running I changed the in-game settings to Full Screen mode and now the game loads correctly every time. Thanks for the advice, if I run into any issues I'll post them here.
  2. Hello eveyrone, I have just installed the new Microsoft Flight program via Steam, and unfortunately the game is crashing every time I attempt to load it. Perhaps someone would be kind enough to assist or point me in the correct direction as to how the issue can be resolved? When the game begins, I see the "Microsoft Flight" splash screen appears. A black window then appears, which then turns grey as the software crashes. The crash message that I receive is: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: Flight.exe Application Version: 1.0.1.30023 Application Timestamp: 4f62aac6 Fault Module Name: COMCTL32.dll Fault Module Version: 6.10.7601.17514 Fault Module Timestamp: 4ce7b71c Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 000ae00b OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 0a9e Additional Information 2: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 Additional Information 3: 0a9e Additional Information 4: 0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789 My computer is an Intel Core2 Quad Q9400 with 4 GB RAM, with a 1 GB nVidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti video card. Please let me know if any other hardware information is needed. I have read one other post on this topic and I have updated my video card drivers and disabled antivirus software to no avail. After reading in the crash message that comctl32.dll was involved, I ran the System File Checker (sfc /scannow command) on my computer, but the scan turned up "no integrity violations". Thanks very much for your time and help :)
