hi all, so here is the problem. i load fsx choose the plane airport etc etc..after the plane has loaded and im sitting there setting the plane up the sound starts to become very distort. it sounds like static and then after about 2 minutes the sound cuts out all together. this includes outside the game also as if it kills all the sound to the computer...but when i log the pc off. the win 7 log off sound works. as if there was sound to start with.. this is been bugging me for some time now..iv checked the drivers and they are up to date. and iv checked to make sure im using the correct output device in the settings of fsx. -Alex Billington

yh its been english from the start. tryed diffrent sites also.

sadly not. also earlier i tried to install the pmdg 747-400 and a message came up saying fsx.exe verion number not found unable to install. is my fsx corrupt ? btw its a legit copy as its 2 disks. also when i try to install disk 2 it freezes so i have to open the disk tray and close it to keep the install working.

hi all. so simply iv installed fsx sp1 no issues. when it comes to sp2 however it says my fsx needs to be in english. i can be very sure it is as im english and iv installed the game in english. i get this eroor shown in this image. also iv checked the microsoft site about the issue and it says to change the regedit file value. already done that still not working. alex billington

thank you for the reply this is were im stuck i dont seem to have the file HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games in the regedit drop down list. alex billington

hey all. so im trying to install fsx buut coming up with a few issues. i think iv solved the first one buy cleaning the disk. now the second problem is. this error code " Failed to load DLL: GameuxInstallHelper"then the game terminates and u have to place disk 1 back in for fsx to ask for disk 2. it gets to the direct x 9 part then that error happands. iv also looked on microsoft support and it says to close all microsoft services in msconfig. and also look for a file in reg edit called "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games" i cannot seem to find this folder. so im kinda stuck on what to do now. alex billington

hi. basiclly when i fly and get to a certrain altitude the ground look all blury and crap! ill stat my pc specs below as im sure they can provide a better graphic performance then they do. 2 x gtx 260 AMD quad core 3.2 ghz (oc - 3.6ghz) water cooled. 8GB ram coirsar. alex billington

hello everyone. so here is what id like to achive from this topic if possible. i would like to find the best programes that could make my sim more real. graphics based that is. now i use rex 2.0 but i think thats just for weather. i also use ground enivroment extreme europe. which helps lovley. is there any other programes i could buy that would make it look just that bit better. if you need my specs to help then here there are. asrock 990fx extreme 3 AMD 3.2 (oc - 3.5) black edition 8GB ram 2x gtx 260's 850w psu. hope to hear back. alex billington
