I was messing with ADE yesterday,looks like ADE won't allow you add or change terrian in enviroment? How would I go if say I want to make an Island in the ocean with my own terrian data and mesh? I was thinking use 3D Software and somehow can convert it to BGL? I have really no idea where to start with this, sure some comerical develope group has done this before. Any clues ?

So I am editing the nav database text file, adding ils to an airport that does not have ils in real world and in p3d. I added ils frequence and course, howevery, when I load a PMDG plane to the runway, tunning in in NAV RAD, there are no indications of reciving any ils. Tried move around the plane, the ils seems to be not there. So does the PMDG only reads ils data from wpNavApt.txt? Or is there somewhere else too? I am also wondering if there is any ways to customize ils , such as have a longer range, start at higher altitude, have a glide slope different then -3 degrees?

How about degree like Aviation Management that don't actually fly but theretical study? aviation degree seems somewhat unpopular and little hard to find. Aviation Technology , Aviation Science, Aviation Management, yay they are all under branch of aviation but what is the different between them?

Hi I am currently a senior in highschool, and I start collage planing, i do have to admit that I don't have good grades so I am thinking going to a community college and transfer to a four year college. I herd that if pursit pilot as career it is best not to go with a degree that related to aviation field but I can't find something else that I intrested about. So I am thinking about go with aviation science degree. My concernig is that can I transfer this degree from community college to a four year college? is this degree transferble? I live in southern california, anyone knows what community college have advantage in aviation science? Thank you
