Wow that scenery looks great. I would love to give that a try! What's the fps hit like if there even is any?

Wow what an improvement. Unfortunately my home airport is KPDX (which seems to be in a world of performance doom) which is also where my default testing takes place. Upon my first flight with the Carenado 208b everything was much improved! That plane has always givin me such a hassle with performance..once I add some fog or funky weather I do take a performance drop which is expected. Ive always wondered if it's my gpu thats struggling with the weather. Quick question! -With my new NI settings do i need to open IN and select MS FLIGHT SIMULATOR every time or does it automatically load that profile once i load the sim?

It's time for an upgrade! Or so I think... Im a little confused when it comes to a few FSX hardware issues. If someone could answer a couple questions or steer me in the right direction i would really appreciate it! My current desktop runs fsx fairly well until it comes to bad weather.Rain and heavy clouds bring my FPS into the low teens and it drives me crazy.. Im looking to upgrade my gpu because i feel like I might be missing something looks wise and performance wise when it comes to FSX. When it comes to upgrading the GPU im not really looking to break the bank but im sure i could find something fairly decent at a decent price. My computer is pretty much used for strictly FSX so I wont really be playing many other games or anything to that nature. Is there a paticular range of gpu's sthat would benefit me in the area that im looking for? I run the usuall add-ons..Orbx, rex OD and a few add on payware aircraft. Here are my system specs: CPU - Intel I7 2600 @ 3.4 (not able to overclock) GPU - Nvidia Geforce GT 530 8 GB of ram. windows 7 64 bit If anyone has any questions about my system feel free to ask away..
