  1. Is it worth it?

    I have FS9 and quite a lot of add-on terrain and planes, and I was wondering if it's worth the $19 - $30 to buy FSX. How much of an improvement is there as far as add-ons and the base scenery/planes? And if I should get it, what version should I get?

    I'm not surprised, really. If you bought all of the downloads, you'd be paying $94 for a total of 9 planes and, if I did my calculations right, 0.6% of the total land area on the Earth. Meanwhile you could buy FSX for $30 and get all of the Earth, plus about 25 planes. Add in all of the freeware planes and stuff, and FSX is a hundred times better then Flight as far as price.
