Greetings all
since I bought me a new monitor (32" WQHD Curved Gaming Monitor Odyssey G7) I'm having a weird problem with my airport ground lights, they all have a upward shining beam, it depends from which angle you look at them. I did not have the problem with my older monitor which was a full HD.
I have it during daytime and nighttime. I am using AI lights Reborn, maybe this has something to do with it altough it is for AI aircraft but maybe it messed up my ground lights also. Ther is a function to revert back to the original lights but this has no effect on the ground lights.
Does someone else experienced this problem and is there a solution.
Thanks

This is the answer from ORBX;
Hello Francis,
I think you must have something else at work.
This is P3D v5 with Orbx Global Base and Vector and open LC Europe:
I think that building in the water that you see is the one on land in my shot.
Here is your shot to compare.
Note that you have a building and jetties opposite the large building that I do not have either
I do see the little building in the water, as you do.
The main difference, apart from the shores is the ground textures that look like a photo insert to me.
Here is the building in default P3D v5, with no add-ons at all.
It's a representation of a sports centre and is definitely not in the river.
The answer seems to be that you have a product installed that has rearranged the land around the default building.
The building has not been added by Orbx or MK Studios.

Hello, does anyone have an idea what this (strange building) could be? It's when I approach Lisbon Rwy 03 on the left side a few miles before touchdown. I use MK Studios LPPT airport and I allready contacted them but they assure me that it has nothing to do with their scenery. I searched everywhere but I can not find anything that could explane this problem. I use Prepar 3D v5 with ORBX global base and vector and open LC Europe but I can not find anything there .
Thanks

I found the way to set the affinity setting and the box for processor 0 was not checked. I don't know what the reason is that it's unchecked but after a restart it was unchecked again??? What could be the reason for this?
Regarding the GPU usage, I know that it is to high, I was messing around with the settings because I bought a new 4k monitor so that's how I found the anomalie with the pocessor.

Sorry I'm an amateur but where do I find the affinitymask?

Hello fellow flightsimmers, I have a question regarding my processor use in p3d4.5. I noticed that when I use p3d and I look at my processor use there is 1 (processor1) that constantly runs at 100% and the others at 20/40%. My question is if this is normal and should I change something so that it uses all the processors and what do I do to change this. I looked on the web and there is so much written about this subject that I don't see the wood for the trees.
Thanks

Hello,
last week I changed my video card (ASUS RTX 2080S) and I bought also a new Samsung 4k monitor. Of course I have updated all my drivers and there was also a new windows update which I installed also. Now since I use that new hardware I experience a famous drop of fps (+/- 10fps less). That should be no problem because I run (before the change) around 30/40 on the ground and 50/70 in the air but the main problem is the stuttering. The stutters are so bad that the sim has become unplayable. Also the views in chaseplane don't change very fluent. I looked around for a solution on the net and changed several settings, all the sliders down, no dynamic lighting, etc.... I even went back to the old nvidia drivers, went back to the older windows from before the update. I even did a reinstall of my prepar 3dv4 and all my addons but no improvement. In the end I started removing all my addons and when I removed chaseplane the problem was gone. My fps were back and no stuttering anymore. So I reinstalled and started searching in the settings but nothing seems to help. Am I missing something or is anyone experiencing the same problem. Any help would be welcome. I would like to continue using chaseplane because it is a fantastic tool but as it is now I can not use it anymore.
Thanks

Hello
I bought FS2crew Button control for Aerosoft Airbus X about a year ago and everything worked fine. But since a few days ago I have a new PC and I had some troubles installing FSX gold from my old discs so I had to by new ones and I bought FSX trough Steam. I have installed all my old planes and addons and everything works fine but now I wan't to install FS2crew 2013 and the installation goes fine but I can't see the buttons in the game. I have allready tried several things, installing without virus scanner, without firewall, as administrator, nothing seems to work. I have checked in the Airbus configurator the option for" FS2Crew Button cotrol" and I get the message FS2Crew Button Control installed succesfully. But nothing comes up in FSX.
What am I doing wrong here, please help.
Thanks

Thanks for the feedback guys but I have allready tried these solutions but without result. Now I'm trying the general debugging steps from the Prepar3d forum. Maybe this will help.
