About Me

  • About Me
I am a professional pilot flying the Boeing 777 for a UK airline (Captain).
  1. Thanks a lot for that Ricky, when I will look a little closer at at the NG. I am reluctant to spend too much time with something I don't fly as the differences in system idiosyncrasies might start interfering with my three brain cells and start them arguing. My pal (the one who pointed me in this direction) knows a lot about these things and is a PC man. I don't have one but use Parallels on the Mac which might find FSX graphics work a bit of a challenge looking at some of the specs on machines here. I will see how things develop with the PWDG 777 and if necessary, acquire a standalone PC.
  2. Greeting folks (1st Post), A friend and colleague told me about the PWDG 747-400 and I had a peep at it on the website. A nice job - a very nice job indeed - the flight deck graphics are exceptional (by comparison with the real one). That made me curious to see if the authors would be building a 777 - well done chaps, looking forward to seeing the result on release. I am not a simulator pilot in this context but am curious to know what the FD systems/indications functionality is likely to be like in the desktop version. Will the ECL and the FMCs work? If anyone can enlighten me I would be grateful.
