Hi everyone, I have recently build my new own pc and I have chosen some great hardware. My specs are: i7 3770k oc at 4.6 16GB ram kingstone hyper x msi z77 gd65 mobo 1tb seagate barracuda hdd antec 920 cpu cooler amd radeon 6950 2GB factory oc I don't know why I still can't play fsx the way I want. I want to be able to play fsx with whole lots of addons and I want it to be as smooth as possible.( high frames) I also want to play on high setting. I think that the following hardware that I have is more that enough for what I want but I dunno why I still can't get the desired results from it. So if any of you guys can help me and give me some tips or tweaks that would solve my problem, I would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!!

Thank you everyone for all your replies. I think I finally decided to get the 3770K and also a liquid cooler for it as one of my friends suggested. Do you think ram is very important, cause I have already purchased my ram. It's kingstone hyper x blue 16GB 1600c. do you think this will work?

Hi, I am kinda new to this forum so I apologize if I am putting this post the wrong place. I am about to build my own pc soon but the only thing that I haven't decided on ye is my CPU. I am building this computer for gaming and specially flight simulator X. I want to be able to run my FSX very smooth with great FPS and I have tons of addons to install on it. I am also willing to overclock my cpu and have a great graphics card (amd radeon 6950 2GB). So I was wondering if anyone can help me decide which CPU is better for fsx. i7 3770k that is ivy bridge, or 2700k that is sandy bridge? Any help wold be appreciated best regards to everyone!
