  1. hellos guys!! I need some help concerning the vnav buttom. I am flying as a test for the 747 pmdg from eddm - eddf. I start ok the aircraft, enter waypoints including the sid and star. No route discontinuties in the legs. I turned also vnav and lnav. Alt setting to 15.000 (in FMC and also in the autopilot settings) but when I take off, then switch the autopilot vnav works perfect! but the plane never stops climbing.... I try to switch to ALT and on Vertical i input -1800 at least to start decending but still climb... What could be the main reasons why the aircraft reacts like this? - does it has something to do with the transition altitute (I have in 6000) - load? (i have input 2/3 on the pmdg load options) - I have clear weather (no winds etc...) Thanks for tipps!!
  2. hello peter, thanks that is what i wanted to know, I check them without the lessons! felipe
  3. hello guys, I have downloaded the lessons for the 747 listed on the website (http://precisionmanuals.com/pages/downloads/docs.html) however, i dont know how to open those lessons... accoding to the pdf these lessons should be located as followed: PMDG-744-TRC-<lesson name>.sav -> <Flight Sim Root Directory>\PMDG\747400\PanelState\ PMDG-744-TRC-<lesson name>.FLT -> <Flight Sim Root Directory>\Flights\PMDG\ PMDG-744-TRC<lesson name>.WX -> <Flight Sim Root Directory>\Flights\PMDG\ here is my first question: 1) in the "flights" folder there is no PMDG as the link indicates above. the the pdf says to click on "select a flight" and load the lesson, my second question: 2) in FSX i dont have this option, so where can I load it? it seems that these manual were written for FS2004.... I have already look into "missions", in the "free flight" under load, but still dont see any lesson.. Thanks for any tipp concerning these lessons!! cu!
  4. thanks for the info guys!! it seems like a usefull tool!!
  5. can you also programmed how the ATC gives you instructions?
  6. hallo my friends! I am thinking about buying the FSCommander, and I would like to get some feedback concerning this product. I would like to start with a general question: - What advantages does FSX Commander has in comparison to the standard "flight planer" of FSX? and being more specific: - ATC Clearences come with this product? can be programmed? - Is this product compatible with PMDG products and FDC live cockpit? - What are the limits of this product? Thanks to all!

  9. thanks for the tipps regarding ATC! Question guys: - When doing a flight plan (IFR) in FSX that includes the standard FSX - ATC are the routes here "direct" from A to B? or do they follow waypoints? If so, where can you see the detailed flight plan? I just want to synchronise the flight plan of the standard FSX -ATC with the flight plan I find on an internet website... thanks for any tipps!!
  10. hello guys, I am gaining more experience on how to fly the 747, though I have a question: 1. It seems that whenever I fly the PMDG 747 I decide when to take off and when to land, instead of ATC giving me this cleareance. How can I involve ATC in order to avoid a crash during take off and before landing? thanks and good day for all!
  11. hello guys, one question: I have the first waypoint given in my route Paris - Amsterdam. is NURMO. When i go to Departures and Arrivals and I choose the desired runway i see different SIDs options. Do I have to choose a certain one? or will they all take me to NURMO but on different ways? Thanks have a nice day!
  12. thanks for the information guys, Its time now to have some practice! i´ll get back to you whenever i make some progress! thanks!/
  13. where did you get that route from? I used Routefinder and i got: LFPG SID NURMO UN874 VEKIN UN873 HELEN STAR EHAM is it something to do with the search settings? how would you enter this route in the FMC? will this go on the "to" column or on the "via"? thanks!!
  14. hey guys one question: I want to fly from LFPG (Paris) to EHAM (Amsterdam), where I can find the route in order to enter this on the FMC? most of the tutorial I have checked they seem to have already this data... thanks!
  15. Hello guys, i just bought the PMDG 747 and i want to fly it with the automatic routes given by FSX (ATC indicates me turns, altitute, approach, ect). My question is: can i still fly this plane automatically? What I am doing right now: I choose the 747 ,create a flight plan, IFR approach, and FSX generates me a route. So far good, but if i want to change the runway course, or ILS frequencies i dont know where and how to do it... Thanks for the information! cu
  16. Dear Members, does activating the directX 10 in FSX improves the general performance when flying? or is it better tu turn this off? Thanks!
  17. Hello Kyle, that was the problem!! now its solved! Thanks!
  18. hello Orwen, is weird, i just confirmed that I am administrator (the other option is "standard"), however the changes on IRS are still not saving...
