  1. Sorry to have started an arguement :-( As I am flying during the day in clear skies and pretty much no weather I'm 99.9% certain this is an operator error issue.
  2. MdMax Thank you so much for the quick reply! Actually, I uninstalled the CH control manager software and now everything works fine. Well, at least the joystick works inside the program...I can't seem to keep my wings level so I keep barely getting off the ground and then flipping and crashing. But I think that is an operator error and not an issue with the program or the joystick! Thanks again!
  3. Hi, I'm brand new here. I just installed X-Plane 10 on my Windows 7 laptop. I accepted all the updates, so I'm running the latest-and-greatest 10.11. I have a CH Flightstick. I followed the installation instructions for the Flightstick and controller software and Windows sees it and says it is working properly. When I launched X-Plane the very first time, with the Flightstick plugged in, I received a notice that X-Plane detected an uncalibrated joystick and instructed me to calibrate the joystick now by moving the controller through all of its axes several times and then clicking continue. I did this and then proceeded to follow X-Plane's Quick Start instructions by clicking Settings-->Joystick & Equipment. When I move the joystick forward and back, nothing happens. The red bar does not move. I tried clicking "calibrate joystick now," and still the bar doesn't move. I tried exiting out and just trying to fly and nothing happens when I move the joystick. Basically, even though X-Plane said I had an uncalibrated joystick and I calibrated it, it acts as if the joystick isn't even there. Does anyone have any thoughts? I'm extremely frustrated! Thanks in advance
