  1. ive always used craftsman (my dad has always told me theres nothing better than american made tools) but now that the majority of craftsman tools are made in china im starting to second guess craftsman.
  2. Dont know how your program works but they charge a 2000 dollar fee for tools, do those become my own personal tools for the class?
  3. My college offers a certificate program for airframe and powerplant. So I decided after i graduate with my associates degree in May I will sign up for the program. I'm very good with mechanics (been working on cars since about 12 years old). My question is for any aviation mechanics (or anyone knowledgable in the field) is, is it worth it? do you still enjoy it? and how are the job oppurtunities? Thanks Everyone.
  4. I also have this happen, I'm usually flying a tail dragger and after I have the plane centered down the runway, as I start moving it will want to swerve to the left, don't know why either.
  5. Your not the only one
  6. These were all shot in london Taking off from London City (EGLC) Double B with a more famous Double B : Approaching Northolt AB (EGWU): And Double B doing what she does best: The DC3 or in this case you can call it a C47 (not sure if I like the whole camo paint, I'm a sucker for bare metal though) Is my plane of choice on fsx. Shes not the fastest or the prettiest, but I love the simplicity of it, and the noise those twin radial engines make.
  7. based on personal experience jims looks the most accurate, but all of your systems look beautiful, cant wait until i can save the money up to upgrade. Thanks everyone :good:
  8. The same as winter but instead of gray and white it's green and brown lol I already love fsx but I'd probably enjoy it more if I could see ummm.... Detailed buildings and trees lol
  9. your pc makes my laptop look like a gameboy lol
  10. wondering if someone wanted to do a recon for me lol, can someone with a good system that can pump out serious graphics take off from griffiss (KRME) head north and take pictures of and around the shore of Lake Delta, i plan on upgrading to a better pc and wanna see what i should be expecting thanks guys :good:
  11. your right aired is pretty simple EDIT: well maybe now not so simple after changing the cht value now the plane wont load on the fsx menu it says "Failed to startup the flight model" now what did i do lol?
  12. never mind i figured it out Can i change the CHT setting through the config file or do i have to use aired?
  13. why is it saying access denied when i try saving the cfg after changning those values?
  14. Favorite plane on the game. I'll have to look into the AirEd
  15. and also why dont i have a "engine stress causes damge" in the realism section?
