Hey everyone, I came across this post a bit late. Not sure what's happened but... I took up the challenge of this 'The Big Tour' and have been streaming most of the flights since Algeria. I can now report, with a panel.cfg from PMDG support. I can now use the 747X on three screens, can utilise the 2d panels, and am a happy 747X pilot again. Thanks. A side note is that you need to edit the /panel.vc/panel.cfg

I don't really use the 2d panel, have three screens, trackir, and a racing rig, that doubles as my flight deck. I am 3D :) My problem has been the amount of times a flight is ruined by flicking through the views, or needing something in 2d, that taking the 747X up is about as far as it I got....can't recall the last time I got to land it... I have totally uninstalled the aircraft now as I had got the panel.cfg to such a point that even a normal cold load resulted in the working cursor....full screen or windowed.... I don't o/c my gfx card, ati 6850 stock. I've edited other aircraft panels and got them working....not the PMDG ones though. And clearly from the numerous other posts in numerous other forums, that don't seem to give a clear answer, I'm not the only one to have lost my patience with this aircraft and the 2d issues. Thanks for the replies so far chaps. I did know it wasn't an easy fix :-) - guess PMDG think so too :P

I know there are endless posts about this topic. But I have yet to find a simple solution, that works on the PMDG 747X I have all the default aircraft panels sorted with the download from the avsim library. I understand it has to do with aspect ratio's on panels that where not designed to stretch this far. But as yet, all the editing in the world of the panel.cfg has not yielded a working 2D panel, or got rid of the working cursor. I've tried adding the window_size= 0.333, 0.874 to every window in the panel.cfg, in both the panel and panel.vc folders. I've rebooted, I've re-installed. I've tried editing by trial and error. I am soooo frustrated....everyone points at the fix.....my questions are: 1, Has anyone got the PMDG 747X working on Three Screens. (Eyefinity for me 5760x1024 res) 2, Has anyone got, and can uplaod this 'fixed' panel.cfg/s I can't believe no one has done it yet, if it's such a simple fix.....anyone able to give any other pointers? Please? I would love to fly the 747X on my three screen rig but can't. TIA Mark E
