  1. Wow, you guys are a tough crowd. ^_^ Since we've pretty much addressed KORF, let me ask those who posted here - which FSX scenery providers do you like?
  2. Two more shots.
  3. Here are some more detailed screen shots of the Cavusim KORF package. The jagged edges on the image details are from me making the shots in slew mode and are not the fault of the scenery. I would say it's a good deal at US$9.99, at least for us locals who would like an accurate representation of the airport.
  4. Certainly, just need to run some Christmas Eve errands then will post more shots later today.
  5. After trying the freeware KORF available in the AVSIM files, I went ahead and bought the Cavusim package and I like it. Attached are my own screenshots of portions of the field, and the actual airport on Google Earth. Everything is pretty much where it should be, and the hangars are accurately modeled.
  6. ohsirus, I'm going to download the freeware KORF package from here tonight and try that first. Haven't done it yet though. Give me a day or so to look at the freeware version and I'll post again.
  7. I live just down the street from KORF. When I saw the Cavusim Norfolk package last week I compared the screenshots to the actual airport as viewed on Google Earth. I thought they did a pretty good job of including all the major facilities. As for the lack of structure detail in the passenger terminal area, frankly there's not that much there to begin with; the terminal wings are rather nondescript brown structures. On the plus side the GA ramp by Landmark Aviation and the cargo area appear accurately reproduced, also the tower and FAA building and the fire station. Try the freeware offering in the files here first, as I am going to do. If it works for you, great, if not the Cavusim package is a good deal for the price with way more detail than the default KORF which I just reconned before I posted this.
