  1. To me it is Chuck Yeager's Advanced Flight Simulator got me hooked on simming.  It was on a CGA monitor with a IBM PC XT 4.77MHz, in the world when people had 286s/386s with EGA/VGA monitor.  

    I kept dreaming one day I will have tons of computers and flight sim stuff...and low and behold it is here on my end today.

    I always Marvel at the X-1 at Smithsonian museum every time I am there.  I was watching I dream of Jeannie episodes with my wife, and in one episode Gen. Yeager shows up as a cameo.  It was so cool.  I saw that episode like a week ago, and I even started to watch the documentary for the Mig-15s, as US and Gen. Yeager were flight testing that bird during the Korean War, when N.Korean defector just lands the plane on US Air Force.  What a story.

    He had the "right stuff"

    He is a legend, and he will be missed by me so much.
