Hi AVsim Community!
I am new here to this forum, and am looking forward to my stay. The first topic i wanted to post was a question regarding the distance of flights on FSX. By distance, i understand that the distance between locations is real, what i really mean to ask is the following question/scenario;
- Last year (2012), in March, i left Sydney, Australia to head over seas for the first time in my life. I was off to Wrestlemania in Miami, but obviously you can't travel from Sydney straight to Miami, you MUST stop first, and we stopped in Los Angeles, and then we had to stop again, in Detroit.
Does this occur on FSX? If i choose the route: Sydney to Miami - will it automatically re-direct me to Los Angeles, or will it just take me to Miami, FL?
I'm only 2 weeks into my flying experience on FSX, so i'm still sticking to flying around Australia for now to get more landing/take off experience before i do this long recreated holiday flight, but i just wanted to know how the long distance flights work.
Thankyou!
