  1. Dave, Just a followup to let you know that installing a mic fixed the ATC Chatter problem I was having. Thanks again for your support.
  2. I'm on a PC. Other than the ATC Chatter problem, it seems to be working OK, but I haven't attempted a full flight yet. I'm able to talk to and hear ATC with "SayIt. I'll install a mic tomorrow and see if there is a change in behavior. I'll let you know what I discover. Thanks.
  3. Dave, The current version 2.6.1.3 is installed. I currently do not have a microphone configured since I am using "SayIt". I wasn't sure if that is a requirement for the chatter to be interrupted. I recently acquired "X-ATC Chatter" and never used any chatter files peviously in X-Plane. This is configured with WideFS and FSUIPC over a network with FS2020.
  4. When the "Play Chatter" box is checked, my X-ATC Chatter audio will occasionally walk over my ATC audio making ATC difficult to understand. Is there a way to mute the Chatter whenever ATC audio is either transmitting or receiving? I mainly use the "SayIt" function. Checking the "Pause Between File Playback" box and using large pause times is not a good solution. Rick S.
  5. I bought the Just Flight PA-28R and I am thoroughly enjoying it in FSW. I do however have a problem regarding the Altimeter Setting baro dial. The altimeter dial on the US registered liveries are calibrated in mb/(hPA) rather than in in/hg. I can understand non US registered liveries being this way but it would be nice if there were an option to choose which type of altimeter is installed in the aircraft. The Operations Manual states that the barometric pressure scale is provided for hPa/mb. The pressure setting knob tooltip displays the currently selected pressure in hPa/mb or inHG, depending on which unit of measurement is currently active in the simulator settings. All I can read by hovering my mouse over the baro knob is the pressure altitude, not the baro setting in in/hg.. This makes it difficult flying in the US where ATIS and ATC altitude readings are given in in/hg. Rick Senecal
  6. I have an issue where FSX-SE will not restart from a recent shutdown if ChasePlane is running in the background. A Steam Error: "Failed to start game (app already running)." is displayed. The Task Manager does not show FSX-SE as still running but the Steam app does. The only way I can restart FSX-SE without rebooting the PC is to go into Task Manager and either shut down ChasePlane or shut down the Steam Client Bootstrapper (Steam.exe *32) process. ChasePlane appears to be the culprit because If ChasePlane is not running when I restart FSX-SE, the sim loads normally. Regards,
  7. I too am unable to receive my Key request. I ordered the product the evening of April 17th. I have sent the key request in under two different email accounts I use. I attach my business account to my gmail account and thought maybe the on line order process might have used the gmail address rather than the business address. I have sent it in with the correct formatting through both email accounts and get back the same canned response that the email does not match. I have also sent an email to JD at jd@jdtllc.com with this same explanation and a copy of my receipt. Have not heard back from him yet. (and wouldn't necessarily expect to on a holiday weekend) I have probably close to $1,000 of FSX addons that have all been downloaded and never have I come across a method of getting a registration key as complex as this one is. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you, Rick S
