  1. Hello, I downloaded MD-11 and when I'm trying to install it and put e-mail, Order ID and password it gives me Unable to Validation Licence. Anybody knows how to fix it? Windows 8, FSX Thanks in advance. Disregard, fixed it.

  4. I start extending flaps around 17 miles out. FL1 takes a few seconds, and FL5 is the longest off all of them, around 1.5-2 minutes. So get configured. Even with FL5 you can do 250kts, but no ATC will have you fly that fast that close to the runway. FL10 when Localizer alive and set speed for FL10. At Glide Slope alive go to Gear Down, FL20, set speed. At Glide Slope intersection, FL25 or 30 ( what ever you like ), and set Vref+5 and Landing check. ATC can assign you 170 kts to 3 or 5 mile final, so hold it, then don't forget to set Vref+5.
  5. First when you ready disconnect Grnd Pwr, you need to switch to APU Pwr. When Capt asks if we're clear to pressurize hydraulics and gets positive response from the Ramper, FO will turn #4 Pump to AUX and Pumps #1, #2 and #3 to AUTO for steering for push back. Than you push Fuel Pumps.....
  6. Little correction to above: Push TOGA and select Flaps 20, then at Positive rate call for Gear up.
  7. First put 200/4000 for go around in FMC after the runway. This way it will never exceed 200 kts on GA and you will not bust holding speed in the hold. Otherwise it's preprogrammed in FMC to start acceleration to 250 kts. and you will have to Speed intervene and dial it down to 200kts or whatever speed you want. 4000 or what ever it is is your GA altitude is already in FMC. Push TOGA, at positive rate Gear up, Flaps 20 and follow Flight Director, at 250' you can push Autopilot L/C/R CMD, at 400' AGL push LNAV or HDG and at 1000' push VNAV.
  8. You should not put ILS frequency manually. You should find ILS RW... in Arrival page in FMC and select it. It will tune ILS itself and you will see it on approach or before intercepting Final Approach Course in top left corner on PFD. It will show 4 letter code for that localizer. If you don't see 4 letters, than you have to listen to Morse code. You should see ILS freq in PARK in NAVRAD page.
